"Norbert the Norwegian Ridgeback" Charlie reads out, making the Golden Quartet and Draco Malfoy groan.

"There really was a dragon?" Minerva McGonagall asks, glancing at her students, and startling the parents with the mention of a dragon.

"A WHAT?" Lily asks, glancing at her daughter who refused to look at her. "Cordelia Lily Dorea!" Lily exclaims, getting her daughter's attention. James, Remus, and Sirius were all looking at the two with confusion, not knowing who will survive what temper.

"Mum it will be explained in the chapter, I see no point in repeating myself," Cordelia says with sass making Severus wince because of Lily's temper and reaction to sass. Ron gives his friend a look, confused about where the sudden sass was coming from, Cordelia talked so highly about her parents and said how if she got a second chance, she'd never be a typical teenager and take them for granted. The Greengrass family was confused; Cordelia never acted like a brat.

"Mate, are you okay?" Ron asks, giving Cordelia the eyes, basically checking her over since he knows her better than anyone.

"I'm fine Ron," Cordelia says shortly before turning to Charlie. "Can you just start reading please Charlie?" Cordelia asks with a frown, making him nod and reopen the book. Cordelia's mind however was racing, and she was doing what she did best; pushing people away. She didn't want her parents to find out how many points she lost or how she let their old house down. Sirius eyes his goddaughter, knowing something was wrong but not being able to put his finger on it.

Quirrell, however... Quirrell's stutter.

" I shouldn't have," Ron mutters while his mother is praising him for being so polite.

"I always knew you had manners and respect, Ronnie," Molly says making Ron's ears turn pink, gaining the attention of Mr.Weasley who gave Molly a smile but got her to stop praising Ron in front of his classmates since he was getting embarrassed.

"I don't miss having Quirrell at all," Oliver says to Fred and George who nod in agreement, they hated the turban-wearing Professor.

Hermione,.. same. Cordelia already had done hers in secret and didn't feel like explaining her hidden Ravenclaw to her friends, because questions meant more likely for them to find out about the Dursleys.

"Hermione, .. into me."

"Oh Cori, you could've told us," Hermione says to her quietly, not drawing attention because of how upset Cordelia's family was at another revelation about the Dursleys.

"I didn't understand that back then, my most important rule to remember was not to ask or answer questions." Cordelia mumbles, slipping her hand into Blaise's out of nerves and blushing when he squeezed her back.

"It's alright, you don't have to explain yourself right now love," Blaise says soothingly, inwardly he was upset and was plotting her relatives' murder.

Unfortunately,..extra work. Neville wasn't with them that day, having gone to study with some of his Hufflepuff friends.

"I'll ..coming.

"Why didn't you guys just study outside?" Remus asked them with confusion etched onto his face.

"Hermione wanted to study in the library and Cori gets distracted by nature," Ron answers, making Cordelia glare at him.

"I do not get distracted, the forest and animals just speak to me sometimes, as I belong," Cordelia explains simply as if her explanation was a simple answer. "Happens with a bunch of stuff." She adds with a small frown, playing with her special bracelet.
