"Should I keep the charm going?" Professor Flitwick questions after James sits down again after placing Cordelia next to him instead of on top of him and Lily.
"Yes please sir, we need to finish this book soon!" Cordelia responds, wanting to get it done and over with, along with the fourth. Reliving all of this was not good for her health and she could feel the toll it was taking.
"The Mauraders Map!" The charm reads out from the book.
"The Map?" James questions curiously, glancing at his fellow Mauraders to his daughter. "What is that doing in here?" James questions excitedly. He didn't know Cordelia had the map, he never connected the dots or asked about it and he was feeling a bit excited that Cordelia might know about his legacy or have even seen it.
"You'll find out in the reading Daddy." Cordelia grins. She was excited to see her father's reaction to her finding the map, or more like Fred and George handing down the Maurader legacy to her. Sirius and Remus were sharing a look with Cordelia, James was going to flip!
Madam... Oliver, who was intent on making sure she knew it wasn't her fault and he had threatened to layer in cushioning charms before she went out again. Ron, ..... her.
"If anyone mentions my get-well card; I will hex you so bad that you'll be seeing Madame Pomfrey," Ginny whispers to her siblings and their friends around her. Fred and George have identical smirks on their faces and Cordelia sighs, knowing Ginny was going to hex them in the next ten minutes.
"So that card didn't mention the eyes of the pickled toad did they?" Fred and George ask at the same time.
"You arses!" Ginny whisper yells, flicking her wand, smirking when the two twins dive out of the way.
"Ginny!" Percy scolds causing everyone to look at them. "Hex them later not in front of teachers; Merlin have I taught you nothing!" He smirks slightly at the shocked faces of some of the younger ones.
"That's my boyfriend." Oliver smiles at Percy all doe-eyed. Percy rolls his eyes and motions toward Cordelia who was staring at them. "Oi, little sister you aren't blaming yourself are you?" Oliver questions her, giving a narrowed look at the resignation on Cordelia's face.
"No Oli, you have assured me that it's not my fault and I now understand it was the Dementor's fault," Cordelia assures him, giving him a smile to match the words she was saying.
"Well it only took a year but I think it's finally sticking." Angelina teases Cordelia with a small grin. The older girls really did see her as a younger sister and they were very kind to her and teased her like she imagined sisters did.
She...scoff. Neville on the other hand, would mail Aunt Andromeda or go visit Uncle Remus. The.....parents.
"Oh Cordelia," Lily frowns, hugging her daughter close to her, not wanting to let go."It was terrible." Cordelia shivers, remembering the feeling over and over again. James tightens the sweater over her shoulders, giving her a small hug while she relaxes.
"I didn't realize how paranoid I would make you," Sirius frowns. Cordelia glances at him reassuringly.
"It's not your fault Uncle Siri, if anything blame Trelawney and her terrible divination." Cordelia retorts, glancing around the hall. She just noticed that Trelawney or Terriblawney as she started calling her; hadn't been in the hall since the start of the books; something that confused her to no end. She wasn't going to kick the horse that fed her however because she was glad not to hear her death predicted in books about her past and future by a half-rate muggle fortune teller at best.
