"The Worst Birthday." Cordelia reads out with a sigh; ignoring the glances sent her way or her family's mischievous looks of planning to spoil her this year. She was more concerned about her family's reactions to a typical summer at the Dursleys; although nothing was as bad as the past summer.

"I don't see how you could have a great one with the Troll, Horse Face, and little pig," Luna says with a small smile; making Cordelia giggle.

Not for... Petunia.

"They wouldn't let Hedwig out?" Luna asked outraged with a frown, she hated when animals were upset.

"Not the only one they wouldn't let out," Ron mumbles darkly, ignoring the looks that were sent his way; meanwhile, Cordelia was internally panicking, why were they reading this, she didn't want everyone to find out that they had fully starved her this particular summer or her.. punishments.

"Poor Hedwig was treated so badly." Cordelia sighs with a frown; remembering when she'd given her the majority of the food.

Cordelia tried... Cordelia irritably.

"Oh Cori, I don't think that's gonna end well," Lily says with a small frown, looking over at her daughter who was wincing, remembering the experience as she reads.

"Your former cousin is certainly... something." Parvati Patil says with a grimace as she glances at Cordelia who was chuckling.

"He didn't get better either;" Ron says making the twin burst out laughing; remembering what they did to him.

The effect.. "I didn't mean —"

"They're acting as if she cursed them." Regulus spits bitterly; thinking of how much her niece suffered from these muggles.

"WHAT HAVE..THIS ROOF!" Uncle Vernon pulled Cordelia out of her seat and slapped her across the face before glancing at his wife and son. Cordelia bit her lip to hide a whimper as he moved back toward his family.

"That filthy muggle dare touch MY niece?" Narcissa says glowering at the book so intently that Lucius and Draco both flinched; knowing that look.

"It's alright Aunt Cissa; I won't be going back ever." Cordelia tries to reassure her aunt who was upset along with the rest of her family. Cordelia was internally panicking; if this was the reaction to one smack; what would it be when the rest of her childhood was revealed?

"You shouldn't have been there in the first place love," Narcissa says with a sigh; glancing at her husband and then the Headmaster. Lucius clenches his cane in his hand; he remembers having heard this at least 100 times about how her 'sweet little niece' should be living with Andromeda at least, that he wouldn't use her for a ploy and that he'd regret his decisions one day.

"All right,".. possible to be.

"Well.." Fred starts, George continuing.

"We.."

"All-"

"Knew."

"That." Fred finishes with a grin; ducking when Cordelia tries to hex him. Molly scolds her sons while James whispers how Cordelia could hex them better into her ear earning a glare from Molly.

Cordelia Potter .. players on broomsticks).

"See at least Cori was thinking of Quidditch over break!" Oliver grumbles toward his former teammates with a glare. The team all gives each other looks while Cordelia gives Oliver a small smile.
