"The Dueling Club" Adrian Greengrass reads out, having decided that he would read a chapter of his granddaughter's life. He figures if he's the one reading, maybe he can feel like he was there instead of the longing he faces."Why didn't we ever bring that back?" Cordelia inquired, glancing at the head table where all the teachers had turned and looked at Dumbledore. "It would be a necessary thing to learn, especially with what's been happening recently." Cordelia points out glancing at the Headmaster with a thoughtful look.
"It is something to put on the list Miss Potter-Black; good eye." Dumbledore compliments with a beaming smile.
"Dueling club was always fun when we were in school," James says with a wistful eye.
"Yes, the day Tiger-Lily over there knocked you flat on your arse was the best day ever." Sirius teases his brother, ducking as the jet of light blue goes toward him, a Maurader spell invented to instantly change your clothes to say that the caster is the sexiest of the Mauraders. "Now Now Jamsie, that's not very kind!" Sirius hexes him back, missing and hitting Remus instead.
"Sirius Orion and James Charlus both of you act like your stature so we can continue reading." Arcturus sternly states with a small smile. Both of the young men murmur apologies and sit down; allowing Adrian to read.
Cordelia....said as Cordelia put her breakfast to the side. "You have a visitor coming to visit you, your Uncle Moony I was told to tell you."
"Uncle Moony? He's coming here?" Cordelia yelps, looking at her in shock.
"Yes, he was quite worried when he heard you broke that arm of yours; of course after hearing what that blundering idiot Lockhart did;" Madam Pomfrey stills, glancing at her arm once more. "Andromeda told him to come since she's in America and your Uncle finally came back into the country."
"Remus you were out of the country?" Sirius asks confused, they had never talked about this.
"Between finding work and Albus saying the wards wouldn't let me into Privet Drive because I was a 'Dark' Creature; I gave up on Magical Britian for awhile." Remus frowns, and Cordelia looks down; knowing that it must've been hard for her Uncle.
"Sorry Remus." Albus says with a frown. If the wills had been read,Remus would've probably gotten a monetary amount, Sirius wouldn't have been in Azkaban and Cordelia's hardships would've been avoided. You wanted it though, Cordelia to depend on you. His mind supplied him with his reasonings of seeing a grander scheme and keeping his cards close. Not anymore he thought to himself.
"Hmm." James looks at Albus with a shrug, not fully ready to forgive him while Remus is just looking at him with a contemplative look.
"I love you my moon," Sirius says with a small smile.
"And you my star," Remus responds making Cordelia smile at them. She loved how in love the adults in her life were; the Durselys never showed affection for each other besides smothering Dudley with presents and she was happy to see what real love and caring looked like.
"When will he be here?" Cordelia asked nervously, glancing at her reflection from her compact that Hermione brought down. She looked terrible. Madam Pomfrey chuckled and waved her wand, making Cordelia's hair neat-ish.
"He's on his way from the Headmaster's office, he flooed from there." Madam Pomfrey informed her as she feels Cordelia's head with the back of her hand. "You can leave either this afternoon or early evening, you were running a slight fever from the Skelegrow, probably because of your heritage, Potters always react differently to their own potions." Madam Pomfrey chuckles before smiling at her.
