𝟜𝟜⏐uncle moony and the weasley bunch

"Hey, I'd like to read if that's alright?" Cassius Warrington questions, glancing at the Headmaster, who gives him a nod and summons the book toward him. While he was getting confused looks about wanting to read from some of the Slytherins, he wasn't bothered though. "Uncle Moony and the Weasley Bunch" He reads out.

"Oh! Finally the main characters!" Ginny teases, flipping her hair over her shoulder. Cordelia giggled at her reaction. Luna stares at her in awe, loving how pretty her hair looks.

Cordelia had been really excited to spend another part of her summer at the Tonks's house. From going with Ted to the muggle stores to going with Aunt Andromeda to the local grocery store, she always had so much fun. She spent the past week not doing that due to Sirius Black; sure she got to go out a couple of times with them but they were unable to do their normal routine.

"Remember to pack your trunk since you are spending the rest of the summer at Remus's Cottage." Andromeda reminds Cordelia of that morning at breakfast. She was going to spend the rest of the summer with Remus due to them not spending much time together previously. After a brief birthday celebration today, she'd be going to her Uncle's for the rest of the summer, something that excited her immensely. Due to Cordelia's unfortunate situation, she wasn't celebrate her birthday until a week later. She was excited to get time with the entire family. Neville was coming over with his Gran along with Remus, the Tonks, and Aunt Cissy is going to try to stop by.

"You both were out of the country." Cordelia turns to Ron and Hermione apologetically. They both look confused, glancing at each other before her. "I'm sorry-"

"Cori, you don't need to apologize for enjoying your birthday." Hermione interrupts her with a small smile, giving her an understanding look. "We have celebrated with you before and we'll celebrate again." She assures her with a grin.

"She's right, you have no need to apologize." Ron agrees, giving her a small smile.

"Just wait till this year," James promises Cordelia and her friends, already thinking of a million ideas for the best 15th party in the world. "It'll be incredible little fawn." James smiles at her, getting a grin in return.

"What time is everyone arriving 'Dromeda?" Ted asks as he walked into the kitchen. Pressing a kiss on Cordelia's head before grabbing a muffin from the plate. "I want to take Cori to the muggle stores nearby," Ted mentions causing her to light up.

"Everyone will be here at 2 so you got to be back by then," Andromeda informs both of them. "Cordelia I hung out an outfit in the closet for you to wear today." She mentions, pressing her own kiss on Cordelia's head. She prided herself that now she didn't flinch when they kissed or hugged her.

"She shouldn't have to be proud of that," Andromeda whispers with a frown.

"It means she trusts us," Ted reassures her with a grin. He gave her a smile with a kiss on the cheek to assure her. Andromeda gave him a thankful look, especially since he knew how to calm her down.

"I'm so proud of you sweetheart," Lily murmurs toward her daughter, giving her a kiss on the cheek. "You are so strong." She assures her. Cordelia smiles softly at her mother, getting a soft hug and leaning against her mother.

"Thanks, Aunt Andi." Cordelia gratefully tells her Aunt. "Uncle Ted, can we go to the bookstore?" She practically begs, unknowingly giving him puppy dog eyes that would make anyone melt instantly.

"Yes kiddo, we can go." He chuckles, ruffling her hair and motioning to the muffins. "Eat another muffin and finish your milk before you get dressed, Lia." He instructs, a stern glance with a kind smile. Cordelia nods, giving him a beaming grin as she grabs another chocolate chip muffin. She loved that she could eat whatever she wanted here, and she didn't have to do a million chores. Andromeda asked her to make the table maybe once a day not even and just to keep her room clean. It was baffling to Cordelia but she won't kick a thestral in the back.
