The hall was a bit more lively as they all came in to start the third book. Cordelia considered this to be ironic since the third year was darker than the second but lighter than the first. Regulus and Severus had walked in together and had gone toward the head table after passing Cordelia, Regulus giving her a hug.

"Uncle Sirius, are you alright?" Cordelia questions her godfather who looked slightly upset. He gives a nod, not looking up from the seat he took beside Remus, her father sitting on his other side. She raises an eyebrow, walking over and plopping on the floor in front of him, resting her head on Sirius's knee. "If you need anything Pads, let me know." She murmurs quietly, relaxing slightly when he starts playing with her hair, trying to shake some anxiety.

"Hello everyone." Luna skips over with a cheerful smile as she sits next to Ginny. Michael Corner comes over, sitting on a couch with Susan and Hannah, glancing longingly at Cordelia making her internally sigh. She was not ready for that drama to unfold, luckily Sirius and Remus already knew.

"Hello Everyone, here we are starting the third book and hopefully we will finish quickly so that we can get out of the bubble soon," Dumbledore announces. "Would anyone like to read the first chapter?" He questions, glancing at everyone in the hall. Before anyone could read, however, they brought in Lucius Malfoy with Kinglsey and Tonks guarding him as he was wearing restriction cuffs. Laughter rang throughout the hall at the results of Sirius and Regulus's pranks, Cordelia's not showing up yet. Lucius had purple skin with the word ponce on his forehead, itchy hives covering his skin, Gryffindor Red hair, and his clothing kept changing colors, the robes he had been taken away in changing into a Dumbledore style, and when he went to talk; a squawking sound came out of his mouth.

"ICONIC!"

"Genius!"

"AMAZING!"

The hall rang out with applause, giving whistles as Tonks and Kingsley half-heartedly try to end it, and finally, since Lucius won't stop complaining, he's hit with a silencing charm by Madam Bones herself to get the squawking to stop. Arcturus narrows his eyes at the pranks and sends a look to Sirius, knowing some of this was his handiwork. Regulus was smirking in his seat unnoticeably, Lucius was probably feeling extreme discomfort right now, the darker spells he used not taking effect yet; a nightmare curse was placed on Lucius for when he slept, Regulus using it to plot what Lucius did to others to increase by tenfold when he dreamed.

"I'll read." Ted Tonks volunteers to break up the laughter and attempts at finding the culprit. Ted goes up to get the book instead of summoning it before walking back to his seat near his wife and daughter on a couch near the head table. "Cordelia Potter-Black and the Prisoner of Azkaban" He reads the title. He opens the first chapter and clears his throat. "Owl Post."

Cordelia.... witch.

"That explains so much about her work," Severus mutters, glaring at the book and wondering if the Dursley family wouldn't mind testing different potions and poisons.

"Just think, between Lily, Remus, and my grandfather; her work will be perfect now," Regulus mutters to him, getting a small snort, (although Severus would deny it) in return.

"I'll kill my sister and her husband;" Lily seethes, gripping her fuming husband's hand tightly, glancing toward the ground to glance at her daughter. She needed the reassurance that she was okay, which was terrible considering this was the first paragraph.

It ...summer. (Best not to mention the damage she'd suffer as well, she didn't have enough supplies left.)

"If you don't kill them I will," Sirius mutters under his breath toward James, who knew he was completely serious. The both of them hated the act of killing; having to do it as Aurors, especially during battles; but Cordelia was their light, their world, and to see people hurting her to the point where she feared doing homework, spoke for the bloodthirst of the Black blood coursing through their veins.
