"How would you like to read?" Professor McGonagall asked Professor Sprout as she looked at the different chapter titles.

"Sure," Professor Sprout responded with a smile, taking the book from her. She was hoping this wasn't a sad chapter because poor Cordelia had already been through so much. "Summer of Spells,"

"I'm assuming we'll get snippets of what you did this past summer," Lily glanced at her daughter with a small smile, hoping they learned more about their beautiful little girl. James smiled at her too, hoping Remus and Sirius taught her a lot of things.

"Hopefully we see some good moments," Cordelia sighed under her breath, thinking of the Quidditch cup and other things. She didn't want the books to focus on all the negative things in her life. This past summer was one of the best.

"So how was your first night Neville?" Sirius questioned Cordelia's godbrother as they all sat for breakfast the next day. Remus and Sirius allowed them to sleep in since Cordelia didn't have any early morning meetings or lessons today but she did have another dueling lesson– and this time Neville was joining her. Then Remus was helping them with review since Augusta asked for Neville to be tutored by Remus —she was paying Remus although he had given her quite an argument over that.

"It was well, thank you again for allowing me to spend the rest of the summer here," Neville politely stated as he ate his food, smiling at how good the taste was. He knew that Remus and Sirius cooked together —-Sirius got to make toast, apparently, he set fires elsewhere— and appreciated them cooking for him.

"Thank you, guys, for having Neville," Alice felt the need to thank her friends. She appreciated them taking care of him and not excluding him —-not that she thought they ever would.

"Of course Alice," Remus gave her a smile. "Neville we've told you this but you are always welcome with us, we love you," Remus told the young boy, knowing he had similar issues to Cordelia. Augusta tried but she was older and had a hard time saying no to the more arcane methods that Algie used.

"I love you both too," Neville responded, slightly surprised by being told he was loved by the two of them. Especially since they weren't his godparents, they were Cordelia's. They were his uncles though, his amazing Uncles.

"I'm glad you didn't let Sirius cook for the kids, they would've died," James stated, knowing personally how much Sirius sucked at cooking; even his mother hadn't managed to teach him. "Especially breakfast foods," he added with a laugh causing Sirius to pout while anyone who knew Sirius nodded in agreement. Sirius crossed his arms over his chest.

"You suck Potter," Sirius glares at his brother, rolling his eyes. "Not all of us cook; some of us are just dashingly good looking," He flips his hair over his shoulder.

"You are always welcome here Neville," Remus assured the younger boy, giving him a kind smile before turning toward Cordelia who was curled up in her chair, barely drinking her tea. "Cordelia darling, finish your tea so you are much more awake," Remus gently nudged her cup and Cordelia sighed, bringing it up to her lips.

"You should see her at the Gryffindor Table;" Neville shyly chuckled. "Ron and I have to make her first cup of tea and give her something to chew first or else she's a zombie," He gave them a small look that made both men think of Frank Longbottom and the respect and care he had for James in his eyes.

"Frankie did always look at me as if I was a little kid, in a good way of course," James hastily added as he ignored his godbrother's exasperated look.

"That's because you give off puppy energy for someone who's a stag," Frank chuckled at his younger godbrother. "You also have a habit of getting into mischief," He added with a small eye-roll.
