a/n: hey guys! I'm sorry that I was MIA for a week. if you saw my profile post then you know that I am having such a family emergency and I have barely had time to do school work these past two weeks let alone write when i do have time, it just doesn't end up happening because of one reason or another. so I finally finished this chapter for you guys and then next week's will hopefully be on time. I know we have a long way to go with chapters because of how big this final book is but please be patient with me, I am one person and there is a lot going on in my life that I will not share online due to privacy. Thank you all for being such sweet supporters of this book. Please don't comment update or anything; i deleted a couple of those comments and left one, that is kinda pressuring when you are going through something like this. Happy Reading!
ps. I'm sorry if this chapter is all over the place, it was written over almost 3 weeks of time.

"How do you think Uncle James is going to react to the match?" Neville asked his godsister while they sat in her bedroom. The adults were meeting with Madame Bones and a couple of other people to talk about things before they met up in the afternoon. Cordelia had asked Neville if they could talk for a bit before they met up with their friends and she seemed to be a bit upset. So he was planning to distract her before finding out what was going on."Dad is going to be so ecstatic with the match, I hope the spell I found will make the image we need for the cup," Cordelia responded, handing the book with the spell over to her godbrother. Neville took it, reading through what she found out and he was so impressed. He knew that Cordelia could find things rather quickly but this was a pretty perfect match for what they needed; especially to go with the reading-out-loud spell.
"This could definitely work," Neville smiled, handing the book back.
"Thanks, I spent all night looking for it," Cordelia sighed, looking away when she knew Neville was glancing at her. She didn't want to talk about why she couldn't sleep – the three reasons that she had at least.
"You didn't sleep at all?" Neville frowned, moving his arm so he could allow her to tuck in under it. She was a lot better at allowing herself a cuddle but she still had moments where touch was the last thing she wanted.
"No, I was thinking of a couple of things," Cordelia admitted, curling up with the blanket she pulled off the end of her bed. It was one that Neville had gotten her, A Gryffindor emblem was in the corner with her initials. Her full initials were something that made her extremely happy and grateful.
"Would you like to share?" Neville offered. He wouldn't make her talk right now, but he did know she probably needed to. She did have a bad habit of keeping it all inside until she secretly worked through her problems by dueling dummies in a confined space. Not that she knew that he knew this of course; Cordelia would have a fit that people knew her coping strategy."I just–" Cordelia started, unsure how to talk about what she was thinking of. She had grown up being called a freak and the main thing bothering her fell into that category. "I like Blaise a lot and during this time in the bubble since we started courting we've gotten closer, Blaise and I have both been flirty toward Theo," Cordelia admitted after five minutes of sitting in silence, she was frowning as she avoided eye-contact with a slightly startled Neville.
"And you are worried that you are doing something wrong?" Neville asked sympathetically; knowing exactly what she was feeling. He was going through the same thing with Ron and with Daphne, but Cordelia was feeling extra betrayal because she was already in a pre-established relationship.
"I'm worried that my feelings aren't real or that I'm rushing everything," Cordelia admitted. "I know Uncles Remus and Sirius said this was okay but I don't want to be a — Cordelia cut herself off, not wanting to say the taboo word.
