You know how fairy tales always portray things...a beautiful girl gets to meet with her prince charming and they fight for their love against all odds? Well that's the kind of life this woman believes she deserves and will have no matter what comes her way.

Maria is not just any kind of girl, but one that comes from a very corrupt and rich family, while also struggling with a mental health illness. The mental illness part is one she'd always deny because in her mind, she is exactly the way she was created to be. And besides, it was God who created her and he never makes mistakes.

One thing most people who know her on a personal level wish for, is that her confidence was dialed down a notch. It gets annoying for anyone around to tolerate her behavior and not even be afforded the chance to say anything about it.

And the fact that she comes from riches only adds fuel to the fire. This is because she believes no one can match her or her standards as she's worth more than anything most people can afford. But her attitude is what has made her be an isolated person as people don't enjoy being in her presence.

You would think she'd at least try and do something to be a better person and want to be around her peers but, her narcissistic self would never let her. She can never be or do anything wrong in her father's eyes. This is just how she is and unfortunately for everyone forced to have her in their lives, there's no getting rid off her.

The thought of change did cross her mind once, a little before she met Thamsanqa. She had felt defeated and wanted someone who would love her for real even if it meant hiding a few parts of herself of course. In this world, it's all about faking it until you make it so she was willing to hide her craziness forever.

But then, her path crossed with that of Thamsanqa and let's just say it was love at first sight for her. So there she was giving this good looking man a tour around her home country until one thing led to another and they had sex.

Of course after having sex, it meant they could cross a few boundaries and so she slowly started showing him the real her. But then he was not thinking with his brain back then only with his dick, so he took the signs of craziness as those of jealousy.

And maybe had he seen them earlier, he would have had the chance to escape from her before things went that far. He only realized when he was kept hoatage that this woman meant business and had no time for jokes.

Then the big escape happened and "poor" Maria was left with a broken heart as well as anger. She was furious that he left after he promised he'd be there with her for as long as God permitted. At that moment of hurt, she had all the reason to go and report to daddy about the man who broke her heart.

Surprise, surprise!! That did not happen but instead, she disappeared for a long while. At a private family island in Hawaii, was where she stayed and devised her plan to get back the man of her dreams. Yes, she still wanted him despite his disappearing act.

Big question is why? Well that was simple... Thamsanqa is the only man that didn't even try to get her arrested after the whole hostage situation. That means someehere in his little heart, he still adores her. After all, those were his words after they had done the deed.

It is a good thing she didn't go crying to her father because he would have made sure to neutralize the problem. And of course, there wouldn't be any coming back from that had her Thamsanqa been killed. This is the one thing her father never fails to do, to kill for her.

She really appreciates just how much her father would do for her but then also realized that it's time she does things for herself. Her father will step down some day and she'll have no choice but to take over since her brother has shown no interest in taking over the family business.
