THAMSANQA
I just pulled up in my yard and I am feeling super nervous about the entire thing. I really like this woman and I am hoping this date goes well. Since I had no idea we would have to change plans last minute, but I am glad it happened this way.
Now I get to have her full attention with no disturbances from fellow customers or waiters. Just us with the music playing in the background...what a wonderful feeling it is that I'm feeling. I'm planning on just setting up an indoor picnic with a fleece on the ground and mini pillows from my couch.
I think this is a great idea for something last minute. And well for food, I've already ordered for it to be delivered to my place and the order said forty five minutes and I'm sure it will arrive any minute from now.
"Shall we go inside my lady?", I say turning to face her.
"Oh why, yes we shall.", she says.
I haven't told her she looks beautiful and that's simply because I've noticed she gets a bit overwhelmed with compliments. That's a bit shocking for me because I was taught women love being complimented and that they want to be showered with gifts. She's different I guess...and I like it.
We head it into the house and I turn on the lights as soon as we enter. With Nwa gone, I can finally have a piece of mind without worrying about her coming over to my place unannounced. And no, we haven't broken up yet, she's out of the country for a business thing. I am already planning on ending things when she gets back, which will be in two weeks.
This matter is stressing the shit out of me because I don't want either of the women finding out about each other. I don't want Nombuso to feel like a rebound or Nwa to feel like she's not enough. It's hard to admit but I have fell out of love with her and I just hope she will take this well.
It might be a long shot, but I'm hoping I don't get caught in the crossfire of both their wrath. I am to blame yes, and let's hope I solve it before it is too late.
"May I get you anything to drink, juice; water; wine...?", I ask as I lead her to the living room.
"Do you have any orange juice? If you have it I'd like that please.", she asks.
"Yes I do. Coming right up. Take a seat on the couch and I'll be back in a sec.", I say.
I quickly head to the kitchen to pour her the orange juice she asked for and take it back to her.
"Here you go. I'll be back shortly, I'm going to change into something comfy. Please make yourself at home.", I say leaving her and going to my room for a quick change.
I slip on a pair of joggers and a baggy T-shirt before heading back downstairs. Just as I step down the stairs the doorbell rings, and it is the delivery guy. I already paid for the food electronically and all I had to do was give the guy a tip. I pull out a R100 note and give it to him.
"Ta nja yam. (Thanks my guy.)", I say closing the door.
"Sure sure.", he says and leaves.
I stay in an estate so I don't really have to worry about the security around here, it has never been an issue. I go to the kitchen to take out some plates and a bowl so I can set up for the snacks I'll also put out. I didn't know what was suitable for the occasion so I bought pizza, burgers and some fries, as well as milkshakes.
Her favorite is chocolate so I bought us both chocolate milkshakes. Not a fan of sweet food but I want to impress this lady with me so anything she likes goes at this point. I take the food to the living room where I prepare the picnic after asking her to move a bit while I get everything done.
