I know that move.

Immediately, Killua began to push forward through the crowd without any thought, leaving Deku behind.

I have to reach him, Killua thought frantically. I have to see him!

The boy in the green cloak started to walk off of the stage.

No! Don't leave, Killua's thoughts screamed.

He was so wrapped up in the possibility of seeing his best friend, he did not hear Midoriya calling to him, swallowed in the crowd.

Right when he neared the side of the railing and was opening his mouth to yell his name, everyone in the crowd behind him began screaming.

The doors slammed wide open and police officers and lower grade hero's rushed in to put a stop to the illegal activity going on.

He faintly heard Izuku call to him in the ruckus.

And that's when it hit Killua. He would have to choose. Go back for Midoriya who he had promised to protect or go to his best friend who he hadn't seen in years.

He desperately  wanted to see his friend. He was worried about his well-being. What if he was never able to see him ever again? However, the Midoriya family had done so much for Killua.. He couldn't betray them.

"I'm sorry Gon," Killua whispered softly as a tear slid down his face and absorbed in the mask. "Wait just a little longer."

Then he jumped using about half his strength and was able to reach the bars on the ceiling. He scanned the crowd and the clothing until he found the familiar disguise. Izuku!

Pushing down any regret for not following Gon, Killua jumped down next to Midoriya and hoisted him on his back, reactivating his nen.

"Hold tight."

They zipped straight past the hero's and police before they were able to catch any sign of someone running past them.

They hopped seamlessly over the buildings as Killua's tear riddled face dried. There is no time to regret anything, he assures himself. Surely they would meet again someday. Surely.

But about halfway to the UA dorms, Killua's Godspeed fueled out, and he was left running with his still impressive normal speed.

Izuku was finally able to lift up his head and see the beauty in Tokyo.

The blurring lights and the traffic signs created a mirage and blur of different colors in his head. The breeze was free and tousled his already messy hair. He felt like he was flying.

Killua, on the other hand, had more stuff to think about.

Killua's thoughts circle around Gon as he was thinking about how he would find out more information on him with just his arena name, Terror.

How many people would be willing to rat anyone out or be bribed to give sensitive details? Killua had honestly no idea.

He could always threaten or blackmail them. That was an option. But then he would be going back to his old, assassin ways that he had vowed to leave out of this purer world.

Eventually, they made it to the dorms and Killua was extra careful on opening the window this time with a more cautious and quiet approach.

He let Izuku inside first and hopped in himself before slowly closing a locking the window back.

"No go to bed. And don't say anything about this," Killua said tightly.

"I've never done anything like this before!" Deku was obviously having an anxiety attack. He was hyperventilating and sweating profusely. "What if someone finds out! What do I do? I could get arrested!"

"Izuku, you were the one who begged me to let you come."

Deku just stayed overwhelmingly quiet as he continued to breathe very heavily.

"A-alright fine! But why did you leave me back there?" He asked curiously, trying to calm himself down.

This caught Killua off guard. Right. He forgot that he basically left him all alone.

"Uhm.. I thought I saw something. Sorry."

There was an awkward silence as Midoriya began to change back into his pajamas and ho back to bed.

"Goodnight Killua."

"Night."

Killua pretended as if he was reading until he could hear Izuku's breathing slow and become more steady. After he was sure that he was asleep, Killua got up from his chair and walked over to the desk, cracking his fingers before turning on a VPN and blocking trackers with a simple trick.

Then he used a onion website to access the underground websites. There, he was able to find information about Terror with the website that they used . What amateurs. The codes where very easy for Killua to crack.

But the destabilize of Terror were very little. It only included a description his hight and green cloak. Apparently he was anonymous. Killua had taught Gon well.

The hight was exactly what Gon's should be at this time. Great.

After some more progress and continuous hacking into police records and other things that held no relations to what could be Gon in any way possible, Killua turned off the computer and went to sleep.

But he was still thinking about Gon. Would he ever see him again?

As Gon began to walk off the stage, people in the crowd began to scream violently and a big group of people began to push back into the rest of the crowd.

The doors swung open to reveal multiple police officers, detectives, and hero's.

So, taking the que, Gon naturally began to run for an exit in the back hallways of the stadium. But as Gon reached for the doorknob, he felt a familiar nen.

Again, I'm sorry 🥲 it wasn't supposed to be a cliffhanger but the story kind of needs something happening right now. I feel I like Killua and Gon shouldn't meet RIGHT yet. Please bear with me 😅
