Killua looked down, terrified. His hands burnt, red and raw. However, he wasn't focused on that. He was busy studying the odd engravings etched across his scarred hands.
Slowly looking up at Gon, Killua gave a quick, panicked expression. Gon's eyebrows furrowed as he curtly nodded to the side to indicate meeting near the door. Killua quickly stood up and left behind a confused and worried group of classmates.
Walking briskly through the marbled halls, Killua began to recount what his best friend had told him while he was half asleep one day. He had something engraved in his hand when he first arrived?
Eventually, he made it to where Gon was leaning against the wall with a concerned expression.
Gon immediately pushed himself off of the wall and urgently strode over to Killua, picking up his hands and examining them. Under any other circumstances, Killua would have blushed furiously and tried to play it off, but in the moment, they were too hyper fixated on the engravings to notice.
"I wonder what they say.." Gon wondered under his breath.
Killua nodded and opened his mouth to speak. "Hey, you said that when you first came here, there were writings all over your hands."
Gon tilted his head as a way to nod.
    "What did they say?"
"Well... it was in our native language.. It wasn't in Japanese writing or this writing. It was like it was from your point of view. But you sounded distressed. You were asking for food and begging for help."
    Killua looked down in thought.
Obviously, it wasn't him who said those things as he was in a safe environment, and Gon seemed to have figured that out a while ago by the cautious look on his face. So who would pretend to be him and how?
There are two obvious options. One, the person causing this could be here in this stadium. That would give them time to search for the cause. However, the most dangerous option, number two, was that this person could control this power from a distance. It didn't seem to be a normal occurrence in this world obviously... it could even be an object causing this rather than a human.
If it was a side-effect of switching worlds, Killua would have had them before, just like Gon.
Killua looked down again awkwardly. Gon's face was a bit too close.
He raised his face to try to tell Gon that he was too close, but their mouths ended up sloppily connecting instead.
It took a minute to register what was going on, but when it did, Killua quickly pulled away with red coating his cheeks.
They stared at each other and Gon gave him a surprised but.. happy look.
Before he could react, Gon leaned forward and captured his lips again, slowly pulling back and smiling at Killua. His face was just as red too.
Before they could do anything else, they heard an uncomfortable croak behind them.
Asui was uncomfortably standing in front of the girl's bathroom as if she had just left.
But instead of asking them why they were there, she raised her eyebrows and held in a laugh as she looked down.
Killua, confused, aso looked down too to notice that Gon's hand was still intertwined in his..
Killua ripped his hand away and lagged nervously with bright cheeks as he turned away from Gon. Asui chuckled and began to leave before asking a question
    "You know English?"
    "Huh?" Killua asked, confused.
"On your hands. You have English words written on your hands. You know, the American and British language?"
Killua pulled his hand out in front of him and giggled a bit, surprised at how quickly he found a clue. He remembered Izuku talking about films from America a while ago and watching odd cartoons in a foreign language.
"Thanks! You're a lifesaver!" Gon added, dropping himself in the conversation. He turned around to Killua with a petrified glance. Under his breath, he comically whispered, "What's En.. Angrish.. English?"
Killua scoffed and took his arm, ready to leave, when they heard Midnight announcing the win of Todoroki in his fight against Aoyama.
Killua pushed Gon forward. "I'll be fine. Get down there. Yours is after this next one. Good luck, Freecs." Gon looked back carefully and fixed his wig before heading to the area to wait for his match.
He tried not to think about the kiss at all as he giddily walked down the hallway.
Killua waited until Iida won his match to return back to the seating area to witness Gon's fight with Tokoyami.
The fight began with Dark Shadow curtly flying towards Gon. But faster than anyone except Killua to register, Gon stepped to the side with an arrogant grin and a flamboyant wink to Killua. He refused to let himself blush.
Next time dark shadow came around, Gon actually engaged in a fist fight with Dark Shadow, completely pummeling him to the dirt with ease.
Tokoyami withdrew his shadow so he could catch his breath before attacking again while Gon just stood there as if he was showing off.
However, Killua was too occupied with himself to know what happened next.
All he could see was darkness. He swayed back and forth on the balls of his feet, reading him to weakly catch himself on the wall. He heard Uraraka shout alarmingly as people began to rush to his side.
For a second, his hearing went out and he collapsed, only to wake up immediately and sit up quickly. It felt like he had just been dunked head first into a pool of anesthesia and pulled right back out.
"What the hell..." he whispered as he pressed his hand to his face. There isn't any way that he was drugged... wasn't he immune?
Suddenly, he felt a firm hand grasp his own. Weakly pulling away, he glared up at Iida but immediately became worried as he saw his expression.
    "Killua... what is this?"
"Iida, what are you talking about?"
"The writing on your hands! Did you not learn English in elementary?"
Killua shrugged and looked down. "I don't really know what it is."
Iida narrowed his eyes and pulled his hands back towards him, studying them.
Jirou looked over his shoulder and a pained and concerned look came over her expression as she read the words etched into his skin.
Satou gave him a grim look as Killua sat, dumbfounded by everyone's expressions.
    "What! What does it say?"
Denki turned to Iida. "It is obvious that's someone's quirk. If he didn't write it and doesn't understand it, then why is it there? And it's having an effect on him."
"Hey!" Killua said harshly, turning attention back to him. "Is someone going to tell me what it says?"
Todoroki stared at him emotionlessly. "It says, 'Deplete your power and give it all to me. Wither away.'"

OMG IM BACK??? AND WITH MULTIPLE UPDATES?? THE END OF THE BOOK??
