"How did you know it was him?" She was coming towards me, she grabbed me by my attire and she was so close, her eyes colors were changed.

"Every night, you will come with me, we will follow him and his men." She said it with an excitement voice.

"Sure. Did I hurt you last night?" She smiled and let go of me.

"No, you didn't, you were the one that was severely hurt, or maybe at deaths door, and you did it all because of a kiss?" I laughed; I saw her blushing.

"That was my second kiss from you, the first one was...... we won't talk about the first one." I said smiling. She widened her eyes.

"When we go and follow them, do you mind covering your face or your features, as I know him, he can find people easily if he recognizes only a little bit of their feature." I saw her eyes darkened as I mentioned him, she nods.

"Sure, I can work on that." She said as she looked through the window, I got up and went near her, all I wanted to do was kiss her slow and deep. As I approached her, I grabbed her head pulling her towards me and started kissing her slowly. I could feel her tiny hands on my chest trying to push me away, but I pulled her closer to me. As she gave up she kissed me back, I was getting weak on my knees just by her touch. As she broke the kiss, she just looked at me, I only smiled at her and went outside, not running slowly, so she doesn't think she isn't good enough. Hell she doesn't know that she had my heart in her hands, she could stab me, burn me alive for all I care, I would still love her. But her touch, her touch became a problem to me, now I can't go anywhere if she touches me.

"Hey Alaric, are you free right now?" I looked at him, he was starting to get annoying for some kind of reasons.

"Come on, I heard Lea will be sparing today, and there is something really amazing going to happen." I fixed my posture and looked at him.

"I hope it will not be harmful, and if so then I will get this matter in my hands, as the first born prince." I said as I passed him, was he seriously thinking he would harm her under my nose, hell I would burn this damn empire if it was to protect her.

Only the thought of seeing her hurt is irritating me enough, as long as I'm behind her no one will hurt her, no one will be able to do so.

"My prince, we need to discuss a really important matter right now." The general said as he was in front of my dorm.

"What is it about?" He stiffened.

"It's about the one that assaulted my prince." I scoffed, was he really thinking that he might catch her.

"Well, please come in then." I said as he was following me from the behind. I sat down but he stood on his ground, in front of me as he should.

"Talk." I said as I tried to be serious, but I already knew who she was.

"As the investigation went, I believe that it will be Duke's daughter." I raised a brow, if he dares to mention her name, he will be dead right in this moment.

"Duke's Bryan, sir, she is known to be a skilled swordswoman." I started to smile, was he for real, Bryan's daughter? Her being skilled? Don't make me laugh.

"How did you get the proof?" He froze and then he gave me some papers.

"This is her writing the letter to lady Hannah, she checked the letters and then send it to me straight away, after she did that, we took the investigation a little tighter, and the movement that you described are the same as she described them to lady Hannah."

I frowned, was he being serious, or is he just willing to see me go down? After I looked at the letters, they were his son's hand writing.

"General." I said as my voice went deep.

"Do you realize that lying and committing a crime to the prince will take your life?" I was irritated by him and everyone else, why do they always try to lie, commit crimes and be freaking delusional.

"M-my prince what do you mean by that?"

"This handwriting is your son's, right? So why are you here and blaming an innocent person, when you know damn well who it was?" I said it as I was getting closer to him, he looked in me shocked.

"N-no-"

"Save your words after you're done talking to my father, you know that he won't tolerate any of this." I saw him starting to smirk.

"It is true that we tried to kill you too, but the fact that 'that' person we never found is because she helped us a lot by killing you, but you just had to live and be arrogant after meeting his daughter. So, listen well Alaric Vega, the first-born prince of the true emperor, stay still as you are, or else, we have to kill you."

I looked at him as I raised my eyebrow. I was about to talk when I suddenly heard the door crack and I saw Eleanor, she started screaming and guards filled the room.

"My lady what's wrong?" The guards asked her, she was looking at me and then at the general, she returned at the guards and acted like she was crying.

"The g-general was threatening the prince, he e-even gave him some letters that is threatening, I'm scared please get the general away." She said as she grabbed the soldier guy and hid behind his arms, I was burning hot of the thought that she was touching someone else rather than me, but she was helping the situation.

"Get out." I growled, then looked at the general.

"M-my prince wait-"

"I'll see you at the royal court tomorrow." I said as I stepped closer to Eleanor, I grabbed her hand and took her out of the room, there were many eyes surrounding us right now, I took of the royal top, letting myself on the shirt I had underneath it, and put it on top of her.

"Let's get out of here." I said as I held my posture high on the ground.

"Well, that was a pretty good save, anyway, I had a question to make but it turned out that it was a bad moment, sorry about that." She said as we went out of the door which I held it open for her.

"No, actually it was a perfect timing, so what may I do for you, my moonlight?" She looked at me like I was crazy, not knowing she is driving me crazy.

"Well, nothing for now but, I was wondering if you could come with me tonight so I could go with you out of town?"

Oh, is it finally happening, or is it an investigation she's on? It's definitely the investigation, shit.

"Sure, what for?" I am obsessed with her, and she has no idea what she is getting herself into.

"It's an investigation I'm on, about my mother." Hell, she could send me to hell if I cared, if only it was her though.

"Sure, I'll help, do you need anything for the ride." She smiled and nodded.

"Yes, everything is ready for both of us, so after the third ring come and find me at the end of the road." Hell, she is so precise with her meetings, I love it.

"Sure, then what did you really want to talk about?" She froze and looked away, was she feeling bad for asking the truth.

"The one that told you, was it my father?" I knew it, my moonlight, no, it wasn't him either, I don't even know him.

"No, my moonlight." She saddened her face.
