“Emperor, you shouldn’t be doing this in public, you need to find a princess now and marry, continue the bloodline of the Telvor empire.” I was teasing him, and yet I saw sadness in his eyes, it felt like he was breaking down. I smiled and giggled.

“Don’t say that moonlight, you are my only one, and you know that, from the moment our first fight broke out until now, I thought only of you, I didn’t care about anything else.” I looked at him with satisfied eyes, he knew I was teasing him and yet he still decided to make me blush with such words.

“My love, you know very well that I love you too, right?” His eyes widened; it was the very first time that I said to him that I loved him. He took me up and spin me in the air, I knew this asshole was strong, but I wanted to test him. He was enjoying this moment, he placed me down on my feet. After this moment everyone started to clean up the mess we made in the palace. I was cleaning as well until I felt a pair of hands lifting me.

“My wife isn’t going to clean.” It was Alaric, I blushed when he called me his wife. He had me in his arms, he was going somewhere.

“Where are you sending me?” I asked as I was looking at his lips, he had killed a switch in me.

“My room.” Heat went on my cheeks. As he entered the room, he locked it and made his way to the bed, he lowered me down softly, his touch was tender, and our eyes were locked with each other. He leaned in and kissed me; the room was filled with a sense of tenderness and affection as our embraces deepened.

Our bodies entwined, finding solace and comfort in each other's arms. I felt tired, and his warmth made me fall asleep in his arms, I was slowly closing my eyes to drift to sleep until I heard a husky voice, it was Alaric’s.

“Moonlight? It’s alright if you are asleep, I just wanted to tell you that, agh to hell with it, my words can’t explain how much I care for you, this burning sensation in my insides, the way you keep my thoughts captivated by you, your smell. The way you make me feel is so damn good, these eyes that you look at me with, I want to devour you, but I don’t want to scare you away from me. You calling my name with your sweet voice, and these lips of yours, they make my heart beat like crazy, I love the way you command the others, the way you fight, with each move showing your curves move, the way you touch me with your soft hands make me go crazy, I melt at your divine touch.

The way you rule, I would do everything for you, I would do anything at your mercy my moonlight, the way you train, and the way you eat. I would kill for you, I would die for you, so be mine, be in my arms, and let me take care of you, I will give you anything, God, you name it, and it will be here, just for you, let me care for you, and yet here I am, afraid of losing you, afraid you will leave my side, I want you to be my empress and rule over Telvor with me, and raise our kids with me, I will cherish you, day and night, months and years.

My Moonlight.” His voice was soothing, it calmed me, I could hear his breath, and yet I feared love, I was scared to admit it until now, I never replied to him, I’m sure he would be afraid once he saw the real me, the real monster who had a blood thirst, that killing the emperor didn’t satisfy me at all.

And yet here he was, he cared, I touched my forehead on his chest, hearing his heartbeat better. But I wanted to learn how to love, and here it was, the love that I wanted from someone I could now call mine.

I fell asleep on his chest, and in the morning when I woke up, my head was still on his chest, and he was still sleeping, I sat up and stared at him, at his features, he sure was beautiful, he was like an angel, his hair messed up from the sleep, his breathing steady, it gave me butterflies.
