You were inside Mondstadt's library.

Lisa was doing some paperwork while you were reading and snacking on some strawberries. Normally, she doesn't allow anyone to eat inside the library, but she made an exception towards you. So long as you didn't stain any pages or spilled anything, she would allow it.

You were yet reading another romance book. The main character and the love interest were taking shelter under a tree, as they were stuck in the rain. It was quite romantic. Both of them were in a close proximity with each other to try to shield themselves from the rain with their hearts thumping against their chests, you grew flustered just thinking about it.

"Y/N can you do something for me sweetie?" Lisa walks towards to where you were sitting. "I need you to go ahead and put these flyers for me in the tavern." She places a tiny stack of flyers on the table.
"Jean originally assigned me to do it, for advertising."

"Huh? Ms Lisa...excuse me but, well...why can't you do it?" You reply, putting the book down and fidgeting with your hands. Going to the tavern means the possibility of having to see Diluc.

You see, when Diluc was over at your bookstore, the rest of the time was kind of awkward. At least you thought it was awkward. Diluc was composed as ever. There was a bit of tension when you guys had to discuss some parts between the characters. Nothing explicit of course, but you can see how talking about romance with specifically the both of you be a little awkward.

Also, Mochi, your cat, doesn't seem to like Diluc. Normally she would be friendly with others. But for some reason, she would sit on the top of her scratching post and just stare at him with her tail waving around. And when Diluc got up to leave, the more movement he made, the more she would growl.

"I want you to do it because you're so reliable,
Y/N!"she smiled.

Lies. She's just trying to play matchmaker.

"Y-Yeah but, there's so many drunkards. And they make me nervous-"

"Oh sweetie, you'll be fine!" Lisa then shoves the papers in your hands while continuously pushing you out the door by your shoulders. She then leans in your ear and whispers, "After all...Master Diluc , will be there." She then shuts the door on you, leaving you blushing at the thought of Diluc.

You walked inside Angel's Share

The tavern was pretty empty, so you sighed in relief. Your eyes immediately landed on Diluc, who had an irritated look on his face. A man with blue hair seemed to be irking him, while Diluc was just trying to wipe the counter.

You start walking towards the bar, and Diluc's eyes immediately land on you. "Y/N, good afternoon. I must admit, I'm a little surprised to see you here." he says. "Ah - right. I'm here in Ms Lisa's behalf. Is it okay if I put these flyers up for advertisement?" You ask. But before you Diluc could answer, the man who was annoying Diluc from earlier immediately invites himself into the conversation.

"My my, who might this lovely lady be?" He smirks, moving a seat down next to you. "Kaeya's the name darling, mind telling me yours?" He says, as he grabs your hand and brings it up to his mouth, giving your hand a chaste kiss.

"I-I...." you were left speechless, blushing out of your mind. This guy was dashing and confident. The way he spoke was in a very sensual and teasing manner. He was handsome, of course. And the eyepatch he wore added a sense of mystery to him, as if you could never tell what he was thinking.
