Diluc opens the door for you, and you both leave the tavern.

So far, the walk between the both of you was silent as you both made it past the gate. You were trying to think of something to say, but honestly, nothing came to mind. You didn't want to say anything awkward like 'the weather seems nice', or 'how was your day'. You couldn't take the complete blame though. Diluc hasn't really said anything either.

Out of curiosity, you look over at him. The moonlight gloomed upon the starry night, and kissed his facial features. He looked absolutely beautiful under the night sky — It just enhanced how handsome he already was. He glances at you, feeling your eyes on him. You quickly avert your eye and turn your head away, pretending to look at something else. Unfortunately for you, if you'd have looked away sooner he wouldn't have seen you.

Even so, he chose not to say anything. He felt bad for you. Because of him, you were Kaeya's victim in that situation earlier at the tavern, and he didn't want to cause you any more embarrassment.

"I just want to apologize if we made you feel uncomfortable back at the tavern." Diluc sighs. "Kaeya's good for nothing and is untrustworthy. Don't fall for his sly antics."

"Oh! It's okay, I've...never dealt with someone like him before, so it's not your fault I felt a little uncomfortable." you say, rubbing the back of your neck.

"Well, I suppose the people in Inazuma are more mannered?" He asks

"It's not that - It's just that I never went out much. And to be honest I didn't really have much friends so...- N-Not that it bothered me of course!" you nervously chuckled.

"No worries, I'll be glad to be called a friend of yours. After all, we've gotten to know each other well enough to be past 'acquaintances'." Diluc then looks over at you, and gives you the faintest smile. Over the time, Diluc has actually grown a soft spot for you. Your shy personality was what made him act more gentle around you

Your heart stung a little as you didn't like the idea of being just 'friends' with him. Nevertheless, when you saw him give you a small smile, it was still something. You've always seen him have a frown on his face, so it still warmed your heart knowing that he was more careful with you. You made eye contact, and also gave him a small smile, until you felt a tiny droplet hit your nose.

The clouds suddenly darkened and the sky let out a rumble. A sudden and unexpected heavy fall of rain hit the both of you.

"Tsk. This rain is gonna make us catch a cold. Quick, follow me."

You follow behind him as you both make your way to stand under a tree, as there weren't any nearby caves to take shelter under. The tree wasn't much help anyways, as both of you were already soaked by now.

You looked around and crossed your arms over your chest in attempt to provide some sort of warmth for yourself. But unbeknownst to you...

"Ahem."

You look up to see Diluc turning his head away, one  hand covering the bottom half of his face and the other sticking out his coat for you. "Your shirt..." he mutters.

"Huh?" You look down to see that your top was totally see-through. You really need to start wearing a layer under your top. Your bra was a dark shade and your top was a bit thin and pretty tight. Might as well say you weren't wearing a shirt at this point.

"O-Oh my goodness!" You quickly snatch the the coat from his hand and put it on. You could feel how red your face was from the embarrassment, and you were cursing at your heart from rapidly trying to beat out of your chest.
