'mew'

"Ow — Mochi quit it or I won't take you outside with me anymore."

You thought it was a good idea to bring Mochi with you while you worked on some book annotations , sitting on a soft blanket out in the grass. A few customers recommended for you to put them in their own section, so you took the opportunity to do so while taking in the relaxing sound of nature.

Mochi was in her biting, energetic phase. She's constantly been sneak attacking your legs at times where you were always doing something, and it was really starting to get on your nerves. It was cute at first, but then she would only sit and stare at your hand as she wiggled her end before fully pouncing at it — and that was exactly what she was doing right now.

And of course, you found this as an opportunity to just stall. It's quite the understatement to say that your relationship with the red-head was rocky. Because even though he hurt you, you sympathized for him.

Yesterdays occurrence has had you thinking — From his slurring, messy apology to the way he had you on the couch, which sounds a lot more provocative then it actually was.

But even so, they say a drunken man's words are just a sober man's thoughts... right?

It was most likely that he wouldn't even remember anything, and yet there was still a very small, unlikely chance that he would. Still, you were determined to just clear things up. And even though it's really stupid, you still want to give him a chance to explain... Why? Because the emotions you held for him were still there.

While you continued to write down a few stuff and Mochi began playing with grass, the environment turned slightly shadier as the thin, grey clouds started to appear; It seemed as if it were to rain later. So, you took Mochi and your stuff back inside and headed to Mondstadt before the weather could worsen to finally settle things.

Diluc felt his own head splitting, stifling a groan as he moved around the soft cushion.

Finding it difficult to go back to sleep due to the mild discomfort, he slowly sat up, looking around and observing his tidy surroundings and the neatly stacked letters.

"Master Diluc, you're finally awake." The head maid spoke. Diluc's eyes followed to where the voice came from, and realized that it was Adelinde calmly sweeping.

"May you please tell me the time?" He starts buttoning his shirt, the obvious being said that his chest was almost out.

"It just hit noon, sir. You don't have any major business to attend to today, so I didn't wake you."

He hummed in reply. He doesn't know how much alcohol he consumed, but the hangover was worst than last time. Plus, he had no recollection of the events that had happened yesterday. Except, the sense of deja vu lingered in the back of his head.

"Was there anyone else here when you arrived?"  He asks in an aloof manner as he tied his hair.  "No, sir. Considering you were consuming alcohol, the place was clean when I arrived, and you seemed well relaxed." She then set the broom aside, pulling out an envelope and handing it to him.

"Although, Acting Grand Master Jean did stop by and requested for me to hand you this."

Diluc takes a look at the envelope, finding it quite strange. He opens it, and takes out the paper — informing him to come meet her outside behind Angel's Share. She has never asked him for something before, and his immediate thought was something was wrong.
