18 - ALL HAIL QUEEN PAULY

"Hello America! This is Peter Johnson and welcome to the Morning Show! Our guest today, or should I say guests, is one of the rising stars in the industry of book making. He recently just married Hollywood's princess, Audrey Williams, and now a baby is on their way. His second book, My Imaginary Friend, became an international hit, selling almost 8 billion copies only after the first week! Whew, can you believe that?! Let's not keep you waiting and let's welcome Mr. Stephen Portman together with his lovely wife, Mrs. Audrey Portman!"

Stephen and I walked hand-in-hand, smiles plastered on our faces. We were met with hoots and thunderous applause.

I was right. Not even two days have passed since our little party and we're already invited to talk shows.

"Take a seat, take a seat. Thank you for coming to the show."

"The pleasure is all ours." Stephen answered with a charming smile.

"So, you recently just got married. I guess congratulations are in order!"

"Thank you, Peter. Although I must say, your greeting came in a little late." Stephen replied, teasingly and the crowd laughed.

"Now, I heard you just came back from your honeymoon a few months ago. How's married life?" Peter asked.

"Well, it's quite a big change from the lifestyle I was used to. But change is good, right?" Stephen answered.

"How about you Audrey. How are you adjusting to the married life?"

I smiled before I answered, "I'm doing good actually. I can say it's a good change. Being single can sometimes be lonely. But now that I'm married, I have another extra person who cares and worries for me and that's very heartwarming. Of course, there's also the added responsibility, like cooking for two, but I guess doing all that is worth it if it means you'll get to sleep in his arms every night."

The crowd awed.

"By the way, how far are you and how is the baby? Do you already know the gender? Any baby names you've thought of?"

"I'm already on my 6th month. The baby's alright. We were coming to the doctor for regular check ups and she said the baby's healthy. About the gender, Stephen and I agreed to make it a surprise and believe it or not, baby names haven't crossed our minds until now. Thanks for reminding us Peter." I joked and the crowd laughed again.

"Recently, our team found a poll on a website on who's the most perfect couple today. Well, guess what. You came in number one! How do you feel?" Peter said.

Stephen and I laughed. Really? The perfect couple?

Stephen answered.

"We're most definitely flattered about this news. To all those who voted for us, thank you. But I also believe that every couple is perfect in their own way. They balance each other out, give each other what they don't have, and that's why they become perfect."

The crowd awed.

"Okay, now let's move on to your book, My Imaginary Friend. How do you feel now that it became an international best seller?"

"When I first heard about the news, I can't really believe it. As you all know, my first book didn't really become that successful, so I was really shocked and astounded. When the shock wore of, I felt really, really happy. I mean, this is my dream and more. To have my book read by many. I'm also very thankful to those who bought and read my story. You made my dream come true."
