chapter 17: You are my Everything

Y/n pov

I woke up and looked over at Sirius who was still sleeping. I ran a hand through his hair a couple of times before kissing the side of his head and getting out of bed.

"Love" I heard him mumble.

"Hi" I whispered.

"Where are you going"

"To get breakfast. You can sleep"

"Ok." He yawned before turning around and pulling the blankets over his head a little. I kissed his head again and walked downstairs.

"Merry Christmas y/n," mum said taking a sip of her drink.

"Merry Christmas mum," I said sitting down.

"Where's your boyfriend? He's usually following you around everywhere"

"Sleeping"

"Hm~"

"Dad is to I'm guessing"

"Yeah"

Soon enough I heard James walk down the stairs and grab a drink from the fridge.

"Your boyfriend sucks," he said.

"What?" I asked "he's your friend"

"Yeah but he came in five minutes ago and scared the shit out of me so he's your problem"

"Your face was so fucking funny," Sirius said walking down the stairs. He walked up behind me and pressed a kiss to my temple.

"You're funny when you're tired" I said. He gave me a confused look. "I'm not telling you why you just are"

"O...k..."

"Merry Christmas"

"Oh shit it's Christmas. Merry Christmas love"

"Ok so he has a name for you what's yours for him" mum asked.

"She calls me darling" he said before putting his chin on my head.

"You two are way cuter than me and fleamont were in Hogwarts" mum said. Sirius pressed a kiss to the side of my head before walking to go get the plate mum had ready on the counter. He and James were planning something in there before I went upstairs and grabbed the presents I bought at Hogsmeade last week.

"Where did my girlfriend go" I heard Sirius say near the stairs. "I look away for one second"

"Oi! Why do you need to be near her every second of the day" James yelled.

"Because I love her James" Sirius said as they walked past the room I was in. I stared at the door for a second before going back to grab the presents. I put them downstairs and heard Sirius and James talking

"Ok, we looked everywhere. I want to open gifts and we can't find your girlfriend" James said

"You two are obvious," I said. They looked behind me and saw me on the couch.

"Have you been there the whole time?'

"No you two walked by the room I was in and didn't realize it," I said with a small laugh. Sirius rolled his eyes with a smile before he and James sat down next to me. Sirius wrapped an arm around my shoulder and pulled me closer to him. I put my hand on his and waited for mum and dad came in.

"Let's do presents," mum said sitting down. James got me some more books and chocolate. Mum got me some more jewelry. Dad said he picked it out but it was mum. Then it was Sirius turn. He grabbed the box next to him and put it on my lap. I opened it and there were a bunch of pictures chocolates and books I wanted. He also got me some drawing things for the sketch book I got from Remus.  I looked through the box and there were so many pictures. I smiled at each one.

"Thank you," I said leaning my head on his shoulder.

"Anything for you my love," he said kissing the top of my head. He got James a new quidditch kit and gave mum and dad some small things they wanted. He got some new rings from James and some new clothes and school stuff from mum and dad. I looked around at his pile and realized I forgot to grab his.

"Shit be right back" I got up. I went into my room and to the radio and grabbed the cassette tape from it and his bag of new band t-shirts and the small ring box next to the radio. I put it in the bag and went back downstairs

"Ok here," I said standing behind him and putting the bag on his lap before sitting down again. He looked in the bag and pulled out the tape.

"Is this for that music player?" He asked with a smile.

"Yeah but I figured out how to put all your favorite songs on it," I said.

"Really?!"

"Yeah. It took forever"

"This is so cool!"

"Mate there's still more in the bag stop obsessing over the tape," James said

"Oi, my girlfriend spent a long time making me a mix tape. Did your girlfriend do that oh wait you don't have one" Sirius said. I shook my head slightly and Sirius handed me the tape. He looked in the bag and saw the ring box

"That's last," I said. He gave me a sad face before grabbing the band t-shirts which he was equally happy about. Then he got to the ring box. He looked over at me.

"This is going to be something cute and I'm going to die," he said. I laughed a little and handed him the box. He opened it and took out the ring. He looked at it and saw the text on it. He laughed before looking at me. "You put that on there?" He asked with a smile.

"It's a little different but yeah," I said pointing at the words.

"What does it say," mum asked.

"I'm going to marry him. No doubt about it" he said. "Along with the date we started dating."

"And a half a heart over here that is also on mine," I said showing mum mine.

"That's so cute," mum said.

"Right up there with the necklace I gave you to ask you to be my girlfriend," he said putting the ring on and kissing my head.

"Ok, we'll clean up you three head upstairs and put your stuff somewhere. You do have to leave for Hogwarts in a couple of days so pack up a bit" mum said.

"Ok," We said before heading upstairs. I had put a mistletoe over my door earlier. I saw Sirius's gaze go from the wall to it. He smiled a bit before standing under it.

"Y/n I'm stuck! I can move" he said trying not to laugh.

"Oh, merlin" I heard James say behind me. I laughed and walked over to him. He wrapped an arm around my waist and pulled me to his chest before pressing a long kiss on my lips. His necklace hit my neck before connecting with mine. He pulled away with a smile on his face before kissing my forehead.

"I love you so much," he said putting his forehead against mine.

"I love you more"

"Nu-uh can't love me more than I love you?"

"Why"

"Because. It's the rules"

"Ok" I whispered before he smiled again and kissed me again.

"You are...my everything," he said after pulling away.
