Chapter 23: Blood on Her Fist

Y/n pov

I woke up to mum coming into Sirius's room with cake.

"Good morning y/n," she said walking over to the side of the bed that I was on. we were laying on our sides and Sirius had an arm wrapped around my waist and his head was on my shoulder.

"Morning mum" I mumbled.

"Here blow out the candles then you can go back to sleep. It's early"

I nodded and blew out the candles. She kissed my firehouse and walked out but not before saying happy birthday. Sirius pulled me tighter into his chest.

"You awake" he whispered.

"Mum woke me up. I'm going back to sleep"

"Ok. Happy birthday love" he mumbled against my neck.

"Thank you, darling"

I was waking up for the second time today by Sirius kissing my cheek over and over.

"Love wake up" he whispered. I turned my head to him. He smiled and rubbed his nose against mine. "Good morning," he said

"Morning" I mumbled. He pecked my lips.

"So" he started "am I trapping you in here so that nightmare you had won't happen?"

I laughed a little.

"If so I'll bring James in here and we can just have a day together" he continued

"That sounds fun actually"

"Great. JAMES!"

James opened the door and walked in.

"Happy birthday lil sis," James said sitting down on the end of the bed.

"Were staying here all day wanna join?" Sirius asked.

"Fuck yeah"

"Good now shut the door"

"Getting there getting there"

He sat down and Sirius grabbed some games from a random bag in my room that wasn't there before. We played for hours. Lots of screaming for sure. Mostly James.

"I can't believe you're sixteen," James said wrapping an arm around my shoulder and pulling me closer to him.

"Well I am so..." I said.

Sirius laughed a little and James shot me a look before shoving me away. Then we heard a knock on the door downsides.

"Who the fuck is that," James asked. The three of us got up and looked out the window to see who was there.

"Luscious" I questioned.

"Can I see y/n?" We heard him say.

"No no he fucking can't" Sirius whispered holding onto my waist and pulling me closer to him. Mum let him in. We went downstairs and I saw Lucius looking at me.

"I need to talk to you. Alone" he said. Sirius went to step forward when I put my arm out and swallowed the lump in my throat.

"Ok," I said quietly. Sirius looked at me with begging eyes.

"I'll be ok" I whispered kissing his cheek.

"But-"

"Back down Sirius," James said quietly grabbing his forearm. "She's our girl. She's got us"

Sirius sighed and squeezed my shoulder.

"If you need me yell ok?"

I nodded and backed away from him. Me and Lucius went into another room.

Sirius pov

I was holding at the roots of my hair and pacing back and forth. James's leg was bouncing as we waited. It's been twenty minutes. Twenty fucking minutes. I looked back down the hall to see if they are out.

"Sirius you need to calm down," James said.

"I can't fucking calm down!" I almost yelled. I took a breath. "Didn't mean to yell. I'm sorry"

"Your good mate. I get it completely. She's fine" James said getting up and putting a hand on my shoulder. "Just...y'know take a breath"

"Alright. Alright"

After about another twenty minutes we heard the door open. I looked down the hall and saw y/n had blood on her hand.

"What the fuck did he do," I said with my jaw clenched. Then I saw her with a small smirk on her face. Lucius came out after with a bloody nose. He quickly walked out the front door without even saying anything to her parents. She walked back Over to us.

"What happened" James asked with a proud smile.

"Well he kept trying to convince me and he wouldn't shut up. The urge to punch him in the face got worse and worse until I did it. It was pretty fun" she said with a smile.

"That's my sister"

I just stared at her with my gaze growing softer. I grabbed her hand softly and looked at it.

"I wish I saw it," I said with a small smile. "You probably looked hot doing it" I whispered close to her ear.

"Sirius!" She said pushing me back a little. I laughed before kissing her forehead.

"Let's go get this blood off your hand," I said before dragging her to the bathroom.

Y/n pov

Me and Sirius were laying in bed. His arms were wrapped tightly around me holding me close to him. Every so often he'd kiss my head.

"I love you," I said turning my head to look at him.

"I love you more," he said. I smiled and kissed his nose before facing the window again. He placed a kiss on my neck before putting his chin on my shoulder.

"Y'know. I have one pretty badass girlfriend" he whispered.

I laughed a little and he kissed my neck again.

"You do have to sleep darling" I whispered

"I will. I just want to look at my breathtaking girlfriend a little longer"

I smiled and felt my cheeks heat up again. He chuckled as he saw me flustered.

"Goodnight my love"

"Goodnight darling"
