Chapter 29: Its Raining

Y/n pov

Me and Sirius walked back to the common room from the astronomy tower. He was spinning me into him and back out making us both laugh down the halls. I grabbed his hand and started pulling him down the hall.

"Hey y/n," he said next to me.

"What?" I said slowing down a little

"It's raining," he said looking towards the doors to the courtyard. He looked over at me with a smile. "Come on," he said pulling me towards him. I laughed and followed him. He pulled me into his chest and kissed the top of my head. He pushed me back a little and grabbed my hand and put one of my hands on his shoulder. He put his hand on my waist and danced with me while the rain poured down on us. The rain was sticking to his neck and face. He spun me around before pulling me back in and swaying us side to side. He kissed the top of my head before we heard someone clear their throat. Sirius looked over.

"Hey Minnie" he said.

"Mr black I did say to stop calling me that," McGonagall said. "And you Two were supposed to be in bed an hour ago," She said as me and Sirius stepped away from each other.

"I know Minnie but I had to ask her to the Ball and you know I can't pass up the cute moment of dancing in the rain with my girl," Sirius said turning to wink at me.

"I'll let it slide but only because y/n looks freezing and you need to get back to the common room. Just go quickly before filch finds you"

"Thanks, Minnie," Sirius said reaching for my hand.

"Thanks, professor," I said with a small laugh.

"A good guy you got there y/n. Try to keep him under control" she said.

"I try professor. Have a good night"

"Good night"

We walked down the hall and started laughing. He wrapped an arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him.

"If you were that cold that McGonagall knew you could have told me," he said with a small laugh.

"I was having too much fun and you looked so happy"

Then we heard footsteps. He quickly grabbed my waist tighter and pulled me to the corner of the nearest doorway. He put his back towards the hallway and my back against the wall.

"You think Sirius is back yet" we heard a girl's voice say

"Looking at the weather...maybe" an all too recognizable voice said. "Why"

"Just wondering"

"You want to tell y/n"

"Maybe"

The guy laughed a little. Sirius rolled his eyes before moving away from me.

"This fucking idiot," Sirius said loudly. "Scaring the shit out of me"

"Hi James hi lily," I said walking over to Sirius.

"What?" James laughed.

"Thought you were filch. Minnie already warned me" sirius said.

"Better get back to the common room then shall we," lily said holding her arm out to me. I grabbed her hand and she started pulling me down the halls with me chasing behind.

"Wha- lily that's my girlfriend!" Sirius said.

"I'm stealing her! She's soaked and we need to talk!"

"James I want my girlfriend back. Tell her to bring her back" Sirius jokingly whined.
