I was sitting in the common room when I heard noise coming from the fireplace. I smiled a little and saw sirius's face in the fire. He'd been talking to me this way for the past month.
"Hey love," he said
"Hi."
"Did you eat today?" he asked
"A little"
"What did you eat?"
"Some sweets I got at hogsmead"
He sighed. "Did you eat actual food?"
"No," I whispered. "It made me feel like i was going to throw up."
"You have to eat something love."
"I know. How are things there? "
"There ok," he said. "James won't shut up about anything'
"How are him and Lily?"
"Engaged," he said
"Really?!"
"Yeah. The wedding is the weekend you get back. "
"That's wonderful."
"How are you?"
"Tired," I whispered
"Did you sleep last night?"
"A little bit. The nightmares are worse. "
"I wish I was there with you now. I'd give you the biggest hug. " I smiled a little. "You still hanging out with reg?"
"Yeah, a little bit. I spend a lot of time in my dorm, though. Have to say I have the best grades I ever had. "
He laughed a little.
"I would assume so."
"Oi padfoot who you talking to," james said from the other room.
"Your sister. Want to say hello?"
"Yeah," then I saw James. "I sent you a shit ton of your favorite sweets and snacks," he said. "they should be there tomorrow,"
"Thanks, James."
"Of course. Lily also made you a calming potion. Should help with the anxiety"
"Tell her I say thank you."
"I will,"
"So I hear you're engaged,"
"Yeah. I wrote to you about it but it's with the sweets"
"Ok."
"Hey, only a few weeks, and then you're back with us. What is it two weeks'
"A week and a half."
"Even better," he looked over "Ok sirius is pouting. I'll let you talk to him again. "
"Ok. Bye James"
"Bye,"
Sirius showed up in the fire again.
"When are you done with classes?"
"The last day of classes is tomorrow. Then there's the testing for the others and then the last hogsmead trip"
"When's that. I bet we can meet you at the three broomsticks"
"Uh, Wednesday."
"Cool. I'll bring James remus and peter if Pete actually responded to a letter. "
"Ok. I have to go. Dinner should be starting soon. "
