Cordelia means daughter of the sea(-god). Cordelia's element is water. She loves sharks and jellyfish, so it was no surprise that her spirit animal was a jellyfish.
Cordelia was just three when she got her spirit animal. She got her spirit animal, because she was lost in the sea and did not know where her parents were, so she used the water element spell to call her spirit animal to help her. It worked, but she passed out after the spell. Her spirit animal swam over to her and turned into her/his/their human form and grabbed her and gave her to her parents.
Even since Cordelia hates going to the deep end/part of the sea/pool, because of what happened when she was three. Cordelia loves to research sea creatures and what they eat.
Cordelia cares a lot about sea life and hates when people hurt sea creatures for profit. She does not have a father, due to him dying from drowning. Also another reason Cordelia does not go in the deep end.
