Mrs. Coral was the old water pillar, her daughter took her role as pillar. Mrs. Coral loves all sea life, and that is why she is the sea creatures teacher of the school. Mrs. Coral does not have a spirit animal. To her that was normal, because her mom and dad also did not have a spirit animal. But when Shell got her spirit animal. She was shocked.
Mrs. Coral did have a husband, but he died a few years after Shell was born. Shell was only three, so she does not remember her father. Mrs. Coral was very sad when this happened. Coral asked Blossom's mom to babysit Shell sometimes, that is one of reasons how Blossom and Shell became best friends. This happened when Mrs. Coral was too sad to take care of Shell.
Mrs. Coral got better after a few years (Shell was 10), but still brings Shell over to Blossom's house, just so they can hangout.
Mrs. Coral is still single to this day. Shell is just fine having one parent.
