Annabelle

(Don't play the song until I say too)

I was walking home, when I saw the forest that was near the school. I felt something pushing me toward the forest, but before I started to walk towards the forest, I heard.
"Blossom!"
I look over and see Annabelle running towards me.
I open my arms to catch Annabelle.
"Annabelle!"
Annabelle jumps into my arms, I spin her around.
I put Annabelle down.
"Annabelle, what are you doing over here?"
"Annabelle wanted to surprise you, by picking you up from school, so you guys can start your playdate early." My mom said.
"Oh okay. You ready Annabelle!"
"Yes!"
"Okay let's go!" I grab Annabelle's hand and we start walking home, leaving the forest.
(Timeskip)
"Okay, what do you want to do first, Annabelle?" I asked.
"I have an idea!"
Annabelle runs upstairs.
"What element do you think she is going to get?" My mom asked.
"Snow for sure." I answered.
"What makes you think that?"
"Just a gut feeling"
"I am back!" Annabelle says as she holds a flower basket.
"A flower basket?" My mom said.
"I want to make flower crowns!" Annabelle said.
"Okay, let's go make some flower crowns! I got an idea too!" I said.
"What is it?" Annabelle asked.
"Let's make each other's flower crown, you make mine and I make yours."
"That's an amazing idea! Let's go!"
"Okay." I grab Annabelle's hand and lead her outside to my garden.
"Now grab any flower you want, and if it is not in the garden, tell me, I will grow it for you. Okay?"
"Okay!"
Annabelle and I start picking our flowers.
I started to pick Primroses, Glory of the Snow, and Camellia, while Annabelle started picking cherry blossoms and roses.
"I finished picking my flowers!" Annabelle said.
"I am done too."
I started walking over to Annabelle.
"You ready to make flower crowns!"
"Yes!"
"Okay let's go!" I grabbed Annabelle's hand and started leading her to a big tree in the middle of the garden.
We both sat down and started working on our flower crowns.
(A few minutes later)
"I finished!" Annabelle said, as she put the flower crown on my head.
"I love it, Annabelle! Now close your eyes."
"Why?"
"Just close your eyes, please Annabelle."
"Okay"
Annabelle closes her eyes, as I put on her flower crown on her head and sparkle some snow on the flowers.
"Okay, you can open your eyes."
Annabelle opens her eyes and grabs the mirror in my hand and looks at herself.
"I love it so much! Thank you so much!"
"You're welcome, Annabelle."
"Blossom?"
"Yes, Annabelle?"
"What element do you think I will have?"
"Snow."
"Why?"
"I can give you three reasons why."
"Really? What are they?"
"The first reason is you do not like the heat."
"That's true, I hate the heat."
"Second reason, you feel like you are going to melt, when it's hot outside."
"Yeah, that's also true."
"The last reason is that you love your flower crown."
"Huh?! What does my flower crown have to do with anything?"
"All the flowers on the flower crown are snow flowers."
"Really?"
"Yup!"
"Why snow!"
Annabelle puts her head to her knees and starts crying.
"Why are you crying?"
"Because girls are not allowed to have snow as their element!"
"Who told you this?"
"The boys that live near my house."
"Well, whatever they told was wrong."
"What do you mean?"
Annabelle picks up her head.
"I have a friend that is a girl with snow as her element."
"Really!"
"Yup, her name is Snowy, and she is a second year like me."
"Wow! But if snow can be an element for kids, then why aren't there not a lot of girls with snow as their element?"
"The reason is that to have snow as an element for girls is super rare."
"Really!"
"Yup, so if you do get snow as your element, never let anyone tell you that you are a mistake, because you're not, you are a miracle."
"How do you know, so much?"
"You know that I have nature as my element."
"Yeah, what about it?"
"Well, the element of nature is for boys only."
"What?!"
"I know, that is how I felt. Everyone told me, "I was a mistake and that there is no way nature was actually my element."
"But, that is impossible, there has never been a mistake in the element choosing."
"I know, but no one would believe it. For years, Everyone told me to hide my element and that I was a freak, that was until I meant Snowy and Shell. They were the only ones who let me be me, and that I found a person who was going through what I was. Snowy also was told the same things, I was told, so we decided that we both would stick up for each other and never let anyone tell us that we were mistakes, because we knew that was not true."
"Wow!"
"Yup! I really wish they wouldn't gender the elements, people like us would not have to be scared to show our elements, when that's what makes all of us so special."
"Yeah, but we have each other." Annabelle said, while she grabbed my hand.
"Yeah, we have each other."
I intertwined our hands together.
"How are you girls doing?" My mom asked.
"We are doing good. Why?"
"Just checking up on you guys, and I brought some snacks."
"Mochi!"
Annabelle grabs the chocolate mochi and eats it.
"Thanks mom."
I grab a brownie.
"Thank you auntie!" Annabelle says with food in her mouth.
"Annabelle, no talking with food in your mouth it's rude." I said.
"Oh yeah, sorry."
"It's fine, just enjoy your mochi!" I said.
"Okay!"
"Okay, I will leave you girls to have fun."
"Okay, bye mom!"
Annabelle waves goodbye.
"Okay, what do you want to do now?" I asked.
"You could sing a song."
"Okay, what song?"
"Once Upon a December!"
"Okay."

"Thank you, Annabelle."
"I love that song so much!"
"Why?"
"Because you sang that song to me a lot when I was little."
"I am surprised you remember that."
"Of course, it was my favorite lullaby, and still is!"
"Aww! I love you Annabelle."
"I love you too, Blossom."
"Girls! It's time for dinner!" My mom yelled from the house.
"Food!" Annabelle says.
"Yes, food. Do you have all your stuff?"
"Yup!"
"Okay! Let's go!" I said.
I grab Annabelle's hand and we walk back to the house.
"We are back!" Annabele says.
"Welcome back girls."
"What are we eating, mom?"
"We are eating Annabelle's favorite food!"
"Mac and Cheese!"
Annabelle grabs her plate and rushes to the dinner and immediately starts eating.
"She sure does love Mac and Cheese." My mom said.
"Of course, yours is the best."
I grab my plate and start walking over to Annabelle, who is almost done.
"So good!" Annabelle says.
"I know right."
Finally, my mom sits down.
"How was your day at school, Blossom?"
"It was good, until Heart shot Amber with a love arrow."
"Oh my, is Amber okay?"
"Yeah, she is fine. Also Amber and Heart are now a couple."
"Really! That is amazing! I am so happy for them." My mom said.
"That is so cool!" Annabelle said.
"Is there anything else exciting that happened at school?"
"No."
"Then, what were you doing near the forest?"
"Huh?!"
"I saw you looking at it and it looked like you were going to walk towards it."
"I was only over there, because I was walking over here."
"Oh okay. But still, never go in that forest ever,okay?"
"Okay, mom."
"But anyway, did I hear someone singing?"
"Yeah, Blossom! She was singing "Once Upon a December!" Annabelle said.
"Really, wow!"
"Yup! Blossom has such a great voice, right auntie!"
"Definitely! What else did you girls do?"
"We made flower crowns for each other!" Annabelle said.
"Really?"
"Yup! Here is the one Blossom made for me!"
Annabelle hands my mom her flower crown.
"Wow, it is beautiful Annabelle and definitely matches you!"
"Really?"
" Of course! Where is yours Blossom?"
"It is on my head." I said, while taking my flower crown off my head.
"Oh my! Annabelle you really out did yourself with this one." My mom said.
"Aww! Thank you auntie!"
"Of course, Annabelle! Is everyone done with their food?"
"Yes." Annabelle and I said.
"Okay, let's pick up."
We all grab our plates, put them into the sink, and clean the table.
I was walking over to the sink to go wash the dishes, but my mom stopped me.
"I will wash the dishes while you continue to hang out with Annabelle." My mom said.
"Okay, but I am washing tomorrow's dishes." I said.
"Okay, okay." My mom said.
I started walking over to Annabelle, who is watching T.V.
"What are you watching?" I asked.
"Oh Bluey!"
"Can I sit down, and watch it with you?"
"Of course!" Annabelle moves a little to make room for me on the couch.
(1 hour later)
Annabelle and I were still watching Bluey, when we heard a doorbell.
"I will get it." My mom said.
"Mirabel!"
"Mom!"
Annabelle got off the couch and ran to her mother.
"My baby!" Mirabel picks up Annabelle and hugs her.
"Mom!" Annabelle said, while giggling.
"Hi, auntie." I said.
"Blossom! How are you?"
"I am doing good!"
"That is good! I hope Annabelle was on her best behavior."
"She always is, auntie."
"That's good! Do you have all your stuff, Annabelle?"
"No."
"Okay, go grab your stuff and then say goodbye to your cousin and aunt."
"Okay, mom."
Mirabel put Annabelle down on the ground. Annabelle runs upstairs to go grab her bags.
"I am back!"
"Do you have all your stuff?" Mirabel said.
"Yes, wait no! Where is it?!"
"Where is what?"
"My flower crown!"
"Annabelle."
"Yes, Blossom?"
"The flower crown is on the couch."
"Oh yeah! I will be back in a second."
"I got it!"
"Okay, now say goodbye to your cousin Blossom and your aunt."
"Bye, Blossom!" Annabelle hugs and gives me a hug, I, of course, hug back.
"Bye, auntie!" Annabelle lets go of the hug and goes hugs my mom.
"Bye, sweetie!" My mom said.
Annabelle walks over to Mirabel.
"Look at this!" Annabelle says as she holds up her flower crown.
"Oh my, did you make this?"
"No, Blossom did!"
"Did you tell her thank you?"
"Of course!"
"Good job! Annabelle, you can go in the car, I will be there in a few minutes. I just have to talk to your cousin. Okay?"
"Okay!"
Annabelle starts walking over to the car.
"Thank you again for helping me with taking care of Annabelle, Blossom."
"Of course, auntie! I love Annabelle like a little sister. I would be happy to take care of her any day."
"Aww! I know Annabelle thinks the same. Well, I better get going. Bye Blossom and bye !!!.
"Bye auntie!" I said.
"Bye Mirabel!" My mom said.
We watch Mirabel get in the car and drive away.
"Okay, it is time for you to get ready for bed." My mom said.
"I know."
I grab my flower crown from the couch and start walking upstairs to go take a shower.
(After the shower)
I do my night time routine and walk over to my mom's room.
"Good night, mom!"
"Good night, my love."
I give my mom a kiss on her cheek and walk over to my room. I turn off all my lights and walk over to my bed, to go to sleep. To wake up tomorrow, for Mrs. Aura Flight Class.
