*A/n~ part two for something beautiful bloomed from pain. I absolutely adore comforting soft lesso.*
Tw~ mentioned past sexual assault
Prompt~ second part where the school finds out about Delilah when she's old enough to be attending the school. Reader struggles with what's being said and lesso is there.
Through all the pain something beautiful did blossom. And no this time your not talking of your daughter Delilah. Of course she will always be your flower bloomed from the harshest pains. But this time you're referring to the one and only Dean of Evil. After the day in Dovey's office, you and Lady Lesso tentatively explored your feelings for each other. Which is why now, 10 years later you are stood with your wife watching as your little flower gets ready for her first day. Nervously wondering what school she would be placed in. Living at the school previously to her admission meant she didn't get dropped in like others. No you and Lesso would walk her to the bridge and watch her cross to her side. Whatever that would be.
"Lilac? Are you almost done?" You wondered out loud. Instantly getting a stressed reply from the younger one. "Nearly momma." Her tone was frantic and you knew how nervous she was. With you being an Ever and Never teacher and her other mother being Dean of evil she was feeling the pressure. What school would make you both happy?
Your wife placed her hands on your waist from behind and kissed your cheek in a greeting. "Good morning little dove." To which you responded with a smile leaning back into her. "Morning Nora"
"She'll be okay y/n. If she's a Never I'll watch after my little flower, if she's an Ever then Dovey will do the same. I already spoke with her. Our lilac flower is going to be okay. " she reassured you sensing your nervousness at the admission of Delilah into the school.
"What if one of the other kids tell her? She's not old enough Nora. But I went to school with most of their parents. Lesso I can't bare it." You admitted tears filling your eyes and your voice sounding ever so slightly watery.
"If anyone tells her they will be swiftly dealt with. I'll stand by you y/n. I love her too she may not be mine biologically but she's a piece of you. I love you so much it's maddening. And little lilac flower wormed her way into my heart from the first time I laid eyes on her. Do you remember?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~Flash back~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Hey hey hey baby no you're okay. Mommas here my lilac flower. You're okay darling. " you soothed and trailed a finger lightly down the bridge of her nose. Swaying slightly you watched as your daughter blinked before accepting the exhaustion she felt. Sucking her pacifier in and out of her little lips.
"Y/n? Dovey? What is a child doing here? Who's is it?" Lady Lesso seemed to be spilling questions a mile a minute. You could feel yourself visibly tense at the questions. It was hard to keep your daughter a secret you just thought you had more time before it came out. You held your slumbering daughter close to your chest not realising tears were already falling. "She's mine Leonora." You kept your face strict and strong. Clutching your flower like a life line. Dovey slipped from the room quietly.
"You ? You have a baby?" Her confusion was evident.
"Yes." You simply stated
"When?"
"Last year. Her birthday is September 8th" (fun fact this was my due date to be born)
You watched the dean of evil processing the information you'd gave her. Trying to sneak glances over your shoulder at your daughter. "Oh y/n..." she trailed off "who is her farther?"
You tensed once more before remembering your daughter would feel it and focusing on relaxing. "We don't talk about it" you mumbled out your tone leaving no room for argument. However Lady Lesso read through the lines. "Y/n I'm so sorry I why didn't you tell me?" The last part was hardly audible but you caught it.
