Prompt~ reader gets hurt protecting the students from some kind of danger. Lesso is there and feels completely helpless knowing what she has to do is going to cause more pain. Established but private relationship between reader and lesso.

Ever since you escaped from your mother's torturous reign, you realised you were a magnet for trouble. No matter where you go or what you do, trouble seems to find its way to you. Being the first ever professor with a class full of both Evers and Nevers, you knew you were in for some challenges. Never in your wildest dreams did you expect this.

A pain filled gasp left your body as you felt the cool metal of the knife entering your abdomen. Instantly the pain radiates through your exhausted body in tidal waves with enough force to wipe out cities in one wave. Yet you still continue to fight, knife still in your abdomen, you are the last hope.

Now you maybe wondering how you're alone in this battle. Well it's quite simple. Every other members of the faculty were supervising the annual ball. A hall in which you were also meant to be supervising. Growing up as a princess, you'd had your fair share of balls and knew just how tedious they could be. So it was only natural that you managed to slip away for a breather. Not a luxury you had when you were attending the balls with your mother. It was then when you stood leaning on the railing of the balcony that overlooked the blue forest, that you heard the screams of terror. A sound you recognised well, after all Queen Regina was well know for instilling terror into everyone in her path. The screams seemed to get louder as you could now hear the fear of those screaming. Your heart started to race immediately. What the hell was going on?

You slipped your heels off and quietly wondered to the door where you peaked your head round the corner to assess the situation. What met you was disturbing at least. All the other adults in the school had been frozen by magic. Similar magics to which your mother has running rampant through her veins. You knew it well enough to know it's an ancient form of magic. One that can't be wielded easily, it came with a terrible price. After all that is what all magic did. This magic wasn't something you could be born with, which is why I made sense when you caught a glance at the wielder. Rafal. You could've swore he was dead. But with his power? It's highly possible he could come back? Right? It's the only way that made sense. He continued his attack on the students that desperately were trying to hold him off, protecting the immobilised adults. Your heart swelled slightly seeing both never and ever students work together. After all unity was what you were striving for here. Clearly something that Rafal was against.

Panic bubbled in your chest as Rafal had Tedos up in the air, an expression of pain adorned his face as Rafal started to restrict his breathing. You knew how it felt first hand to have your breath taken away. It's that moment you were spurred into action.

"RAFAL!" You boomed over the frantic screams.

"Oh look! It's the spawn of Queen Regina, you must thank her for bringing me back." He goaded you dropping the prince harshly to the floor. He made his approach to you as you signalled for Agatha, Tedos and Sophie to get everyone to safety. It was going to be hard enough watching your own back let alone that of the students too.

"Tell her yourself Rafal, why are you here? What do you want?" You managed to fake a confidence that you most certainly didn't have right now.

"Oh sweet Y/n I'm here for you. These are merely a warm up" he gestured to your colleagues. The mischievous glint in his eye scarring you. No now wasn't the time for fear. You had to stop this.

"Me ? What could you possibly want with me?" You questioned even though you were pretty sure what he wanted.

Advancing towards you he stated, "To bring you back to your mother of course. You see she fixed my unfortunate issue. Gave me a heart that beats. And in return I pledged my allegiance to her. Together we will reign our evil over all kingdoms. But not until I bring you home."
