I've never seen girls eat so hungrily before.

I stared at Monica and Roxanne as they practically inhaled their sandwiches.

They ate so fast, so desperately, as if they were afraid the food was going to disappear.

"Why don't you chew your food? You might choke" I remarked with a little hint of sarcasm.

They both flickered their eyes to me, and while they didn't reply they both seemed to struggle to eat slower.

I felt a mixture of sympathy and annoyance as I looked at them eating. They looked so thin and malnourished, like if they hadn't eaten in a long time.

They were both practically skeletons!

What happened to them, I thought, where are they from?

Curiosity sparked in me, I wanted to ask them where they where from, but I knew the stupid answer I would get if I did.

From the future.

I mentally scoffed, yeah right from the future, such thing was not possible.

Maybe in movies, but in reality?

There was no person capable of inventing a time machine.

It was scientifically impossible!

They're crazy, I decided, crazy girls who for some strange reason know our names!

It was a little creepy that they also knew our last name, when Monica called my mom "Mrs. Parker" I couldn't help but feel surprised.

Joey was beyond freaked out, literally, he was so freaked out but also curious about them.

I am too if I'm honest, they creep me out because I believe crazy people are the most dangerous, but I can't help but feel curious.

They're so strange, I thought as I observed them, the way Monica had called me dad and Joey, uncle.

I shook my head, she's just crazier than the blond one, I decided.

I watched as they ate and couldn't help but feel slightly annoyed, why were they here? Didn't they have somewhere else to go? A home of their own?

Joey was crazy, why did I let him bring them to our home again?

He just loved being the Mr. Nice guy.

"Didn't your mother teach you girls better eating manners?" I commented quietly, they were now stuffing bread into their mouths as if they hadn't seen food in a very long time!

I saw pink spread on Roxanne's cheeks but Monica just stuffed her mouth more, I think she did it only to annoy me.

Which worked.

"You know, you don't have to stay and watch us eat" I barely understood her due to her mouth being full, some pieces of bread flew from her mouth as she spoke.

"You're disgusting," I told her quietly shaking my head.

She grinned at me and continued to eat, there was no way I was leaving them out of my sight! I watched them eating for about 15 more minutes and when they were finished they both looked a little green.

"I think I ate too fast," Roxanne groaned holding her stomach.

"You think?" I smirked.

Monica looked like she was having trouble keeping her food down also, "I haven't eaten this much in 3 months, I forgot what a full stomach felt like" she groaned.
