Chapter 24

Riley P.O.V

I hissed back at Scott and shoved him away, "You are not going to touch her! Damn it Scott, how many fucking times do I got to repeat myself?" I growled.

His bright red eyes turned into a dark angry red "She's taking forever Riley, by the time she finishes the stupid time machine we will have finished every single human alive!" he snapped back.

"That is if there's still any left," Ian sighed next to him.

Scott widened his eyes, "See? She might be the last human on Earth! And she's here just for us three, we should take action before another vampire finds us and fights for her! We should-"

"Fuck off Scott! I told you many times and I'm telling you again! We are not going to eat her!" I snarled.

"Selfish bastard! You're just waiting for us to think you're not going to eat her, but when we turn around I bet you're going to have her all to yourself! Isn't that right?" his fangs extended as he looked at the crazy lady behind me hungrily.

"Scott," I squeezed my eyes in frustration "Why don't you understand the things I've told you already? I'm doing this for all of us! For the three of us, just wait until she finishes the time machine! We'll be the only three vampires in the past! We'll-"

"Oh bullshit! She's wont be able to build that stupid machine! She's not even close to being halfway done! Our throats will sizzle away before she can be done! And honestly Riley, I don't know why the fuck you keep protecting her, but our own thirst is going to make us go out of control, and then, then, I don't know what's going to happen!" he growled quietly.

I felt anger boiling up in me and took a step towards him "Is that a threat?" I snapped.

"I'm just letting you know, that if I can't control myself any longer it's because you've made us wait too long!" he snapped back.

"You aren't going to touch her at all Scott, let that statement root itself in your empty big head!" I told him carefully.

He shook his head and walked from side to side "Say one day I loose control and I accidentally bite her? What-"

"Say you fucking control yourself? You better be under control at your maximum will and power Scott, I'm not letting you ruin this" I hissed angrily.

He eyed me with such hate, he hadn't looked at me that way in many years, and now that look was starting to be very familiar. "You're the one who is going to ruin this Riley," he shook his head.

"I'm the one who will save us asshole and when we do travel back to the past-"

"Listen to yourself! You're sounding just like her now! We won't be able to travel back to the past! It's impossible Riley!"

"The girls were able to do it!"

"We're not sure of that!"

"Oh yeah? Tell me where they are at then! Tell me Mr. Know it all!"

He pressed his lips tightly and stared at me in defiance "They probably just transported themselves somewhere else, for all we know other vampires might've eaten them already!" he groaned shaking his head.

I let out a big angered sigh "Scott listen to me, this is going to work, but what isn't going to work out is you and your fucking whining and complaining! I'm done with it, if I hear you complain one more time I swear I'm going to-"

"Do what? Kill me?" he interjected furiously.

My eyes seemed to intensify with red as he said that, I realized I longed to do just that, to shut him up already! But I couldn't, he was my friend, but yet that didn't mean that the asshole didn't annoy me! And if he kept this up my anger was going to finally make me explode and it wasn't going to be a pretty sight.
