Riley P.O.V

"Argh" I banged my head against the wall in pain, "Damn it, damn it, fuck" I continued to bang my head up to the point were the whole wall collapsed. I growled and stepped away from all the debris and dust.

I clenched my teeth and put a hand to my burning throat. I couldn't take it anymore! I really couldn't! I needed to hunt, I needed to hunt now! Before something terrible happened, before I did something stupid.

I could feel my eyes burning with heat, I needed something to feed on, my throat couldn't take the agony any longer, if I didn't feed then I was going to either, A.) Die from weakness. or B.) Kill the crazy lady, and I didn't want to do either thank you very much.

I growled irritated, I hated the fact that I needed to hunt in order to keep strong, but I had postponed my needs too long now, my throat was scorching up more and more every second that passed and I couldn't take it anymore.

I was going to have to risk it and go hunt.

"Ian!" I roared at the top of my lungs wincing immediately, talking made my raw throat feel like there was glass inside.

He zoomed up to me in a second, "What's up?" he asked eyeing me with bright red eyes, the same color as mine probably.

"Ian I need you to do something for me," I forced myself to speak.

He stood still waiting, "What is it?" he asked carefully.

I sucked in a slow breath "I need to go hunt," I managed to say in a raspy voice.

He smirked as I stated the obvious "No shit Sherlock, and what do you want me to do about it?" he asked "I told you to come hunt with us the other day, but no, you wanted to stay with your precious crazy lady. I told you this was going to affect you sooner or later, I told you not to-"

I glared at him "Shut the fuck up Ian, I'm in no mood for sermons!" I snarled.

He rolled his eyes "What do you need me to do?" he asked.

"I'm going to try and hunt at the nearest town, but I doubt there will be anything there, I might take a couple of hours," I hated that there was barely anything left for us to feed on but I knew that if I looked hard enough I'd find someone or something.

A family hidden in their basement, a lonely person hiding under a bridge, maybe an animal, there had to be something!

"Wait, you're actually going to go out and hunt?" he widened his red eyes "You're separating from your precious little inventor?" he asked surprised.

I nodded swallowing hard, the pain almost made my knees buckle, "Yes, I have to, that's were you come in Ian," I said.

"What do I have to do with this?" he asked.

"I need you to take care of her for me," I rasped. I would love to take her hunting with me but I was afraid of hurting her, if I didn't find anything soon then I was bound to turn to her, and I didn't want that to happen. I didn't want to finish her off, I wasn't going to risk it.

"Uh okay?" Ian mumbled.

I looked at him right in the eyes and zoomed up to him, I gripped his shoulders very hard and forced him to look at me back "I swear Ian, if you hurt her, if you even touch one single hair on her head, I am going to murder you! Understood?" I growled.

"Jeez Riley," he tried to shove me away but I backed up until he slammed against the wall, "Understood Ian? I'm trusting you on this one! If I come back and I find her gone, or even changed into one of us, I am going to forget you're my friend and I'm going to crush you to pieces!" I threatened shoving him more against the wall.
