Riley P.O.V

"I'm so thirsty," Ian groaned pressing a hand to his throat.

I gave him a warning look "Don't even think about it Ian, you're not having the human, none of us are!" I said firmly.

He sighed "I know I know!" he gave me an annoyed look "I'm not even sure why you're letting her live, she won't be able to do it" he grumbled.

"She has to do it," I snapped.

"Oh come on! Building a time machine is impossible! She can't do it," he shook his head.

"She did it once already, she can do it again" I told him.

"What if it doesn't work?"

"It's going to work!"

"Riley you've gone nuts! What the hell are we going to travel to the past for?" he asked.

"To stop those girls you idiot! Ian, think of all the possibilities those girls can do in the past to warn everyone about us?"

He shrugged "Oh come on, like anyone will believe them!"

"Yeah and what if they end up doing so?"

"Riley," he held up his hands trying to calm me down "Think about it, if those girls do end up warning everyone about us, how much can they really change? It's not like we're going to disappear right?" he asked.

"That's what I don't know! What if we do? What if those girls warn everyone about us and fuck up the future? I don't know Ian, I have no fucking clue how this shit works! But it's better to be safe than sorry right? We have to follow them," I said.

He shook his head and sighed "I think it's a crazy idea! A fucked up one too! We shouldn't be messing with this," he said.

"You're such a wimp" I scowled turning away from him.

"Am not asshole! I just...I don't think it's a good idea" he mumbled.

"Ian," I smirked "Think about it, think about us going to the past. Doesn't it sound cool?"

"It sounds insane and impossible!"

I rolled my eyes and tried another tactic "Listen you big pussy, imagine if we end up going to the past, imagine if we head back 5 years. What is the world going to be like?" I asked.

He looked confused so I continued "Crowded Ian, crowded. The world is going to be full of humans, and we'll be the only vampires if we go back. Every single human will be at our disposal, all of them, just for us!" I smiled widely.

My throat burned at the thought of it. Humans, everywhere, all for the three of us only!

He finally seemed to understand and he swallowed "Oh," he said quietly pressing his hand to his throat tighter.

I could see him imagining it, hunger broke out in his eyes and he sighed "I can imagine it," he nodded slowly.

My eyes landed on Scott, he was unusually quiet today, which was some sort of miracle!

"What's up with you?" I asked him.

He snapped his eyes at me "I don't know, I'm just thinking" he shrugged.

"About all this craziness?" Ian asked.

He nodded, "But you think it's a good idea right? Going back to the past?" I asked him.
