[Cookie Run: Kingdom] Yandere! Clotted Cream Cookie x Reader

Requested by: several people who have asked me to write a Yandere for Clotted Cream.
This wasn't written with that much attention to detail so bear with me. And by that I mean I spent four days writing nothing but this, and rewrote the plot like ten times. I don't even know if I can count this as a Yandere even though that was the point—!

Heads up! This is long. Not as long as the  specifically labeled Longan Dragon one, but it's almost 8,000 words so just know that.

(C/F) Cookie steps out of their tent on the muddy beach of the lower city. They take a deep breath of salty air and smile. Elder Captain Caviar had been kind enough to give them a job in helping to clean the boats after they returned from sea. It was going to be enough pay for them to finally buy an actual house in a few moons! That's way more than the nothing they are paid for helping Seaweed Cookie on the beach!

"Be careful (C/F) Cookie." Seaweed Cookie steps out of her own tent, shovel in hand, "Don't trust anyone too easily."

"I'm not too worried!" (C/F) Cookie smiles brightly, "Captain Caviar Cookie said that I'd have the protection of his crew as long as I ensured their ship is as clean as can be!" They wave goodbye as they head towards the docks, "I'll be back tonight!"

"Be sure to clean the mud from your shoes once you get off the beach." Seaweed Cookie calls after them.

"Good morning, um Elder? Captain?" (C/F) Cookie dips their head nervously as they stand before the elder over the navy.

"Huh? Oh! You're here!" His gruff accent doesn't hide his kind tone, "You're here earlier than I thought you'd be."

"Well I didn't want to keep you waiting, um, Elder Captain Caviar Cookie..." They keep their gaze fixed on their poorly cleaned shoes.

"Just Captain is fine." The sea Cookie claps a strong hand around their shoulder, "Glad to have you here. Candy Diver Cookie's been asking for some help cleanin' the ships for a while now."

"Who?" They glance at the Captain's face.

"You see that Cookie in the big hat and coat with the mop over there? They're the one you're helpin'." Captain Caviar Cookie points to said Cookie, "I know it's your first day, so I'll try to be a bit more lenient on you this once. We need these three ships ready to sail by this afternoon. You think you can do that?"

"I will do my best!" They say with determination.

"Ha! You've got the spirit alright. Now get to it!" He grins brightly.

"Yes Captain!" They rush over to their apparent supervisor. "Hello!"

A muffled clicking noise comes from the Cookie and they look up from where they're mopping. An excited clink and clang, that sounds rather underwater, cheers as they raise their hand to shake. A pair of eyes, one yellow one blue, can be seen even out of their clothes hiding their appearance mostly from view.

"I'm (C/F) Cookie." They shake their hand, "It's nice to meet you. I believe Captain Caviar Cookie said your name was Candy Diver Cookie...?"

The hat bobs in a nod and another excited clink comes from them.

"Oh! I don't think I've ever heard another Cookie talk like you!" (C/F) Cookie smiles, "But I guess we'll have more time to chat later, what can I do to help?"

Candy Diver Cookie hands them a sponge, pointing to another area of the deck. Their voice accompanies their gesture.

"Over there? Got it!" (C/F) Cookie gets to work, not wanting to disappoint on the first day.

"Wow. Not bad for your first day." Captain Caviar Cookie says after inspecting the fourth ship (C/F) Cookie and Candy Diver Cookie had cleaned that morning.
