[Cookie Run: Kingdom] Affogato Cookie x Abandoned Tribe! Reader

Requested by: my brain wanting Affogato fics the second I actually saw him in story.

[Spoilers for Chapter 13: Snow on the Black Wall]

"I'm sorry (C/F) Cookie... he wouldn't even listen to me." The child sobs, kneeling at their bedside.

"You have no reason to be sorry... we've done all we can on our own, and if we cannot survive the way we are now then we must instead change." (C/F) Cookie tries to stand up, but immediately stumbles with weakness.

"But you're already crumbling! I can't let you starve like this!"

"You're a strong Cookie, I already have faith that you'll find a way to help both of us." They pull the distressed little one into a hug.

"Is everything alright here?" A strong voice calls from the open doorway into the house, "Oh no..."

"Help! Please!" The child sobs.

"I... I have boar jellies on me..." The First Watcher rushes over to their side, handing them the jelly, "Here. I... I cannot do much more... I'm sorry."

(C/F) Cookie smiles, breaking the jelly in half and taking a bite out of one of them, "You do so much for all of us Caramel Arrow Cookie... we could never think less of you."

"It seems like the rest of the village is gone... what happened?" She asks, looking out the window.

"We were attacked by beasts! (C/F) Cookie managed to scare them off, but now there isn't any food left!" The child cries.

"This situation is dire... is the King aware?"

"I couldn't even get into the wall..."

"That deceitful snake..." Caramel Arrow Cookie scoffs, "He's cut off the kingdom's aid!"

"..." (C/F) Cookie frowns, "We must get a move on... don't know when those beasts will come back..."

"You are in no condition to travel!" The First Watcher insists, "The two of you should stay here, I'll protect you."

"Why can't you tell King Dark Cacao Cookie about what's happening?" The child asks.

"... That snake got me exiled by feeding His Majesty lies..." Caramel Arrow Cookie hisses.

"Then... Could you at least do me the kindness of helping the children stranded by the turmoil... I'm not sure what to do... perhaps another tribe could help them... but with so many... I cannot stand the idea of how many innocent Cookies have been displaced..." (C/F) Cookie says sadly, "I am versed enough in the magic arts to be able to defend myself, but I cannot protect everyone."

"I... I will do my best." The First Watcher nods, "I'm sorry this has happened to your tribe."

"But (C/F) Cookie... what will you do?" The child tugs their cloak as they stand up.

"I will attempt to find the village of lanterns and hope they will help me... I have a few things I must do before I set out and I do not wish to possibly put you in danger."

"Do not worry. I can keep you safe." Caramel Arrow Cookie nods, tugging the child's hand towards the door.

"I-I... alright. Bye (C/F) Cookie."

"Goodbye, little one. Thank you, Caramel Arrow Cookie." They wave goodbye.

Next came the hard part.

A blizzard is clearly coming... but he always came around this time to see them.
They have to talk to him before they leave to be buried alive in the thick layers of white.
