(C/F) Cookie smiles as she looks over her notes once again. Learning under White Lily Cookie certainly made magical research, especially on the Soul Jam, much easier. Traveling around all of Earthbread made it possible to test the magical capabilities of all sorts of materials. Rocks, trees, different kinds of soil... the extent of their magical capacity was already helping Cookies across Earthbread advance in ways that were almost unheard of.

Of course, that wouldn't be the case without the other new friends she had made under the guidance of White Lily Cookie, the kings and queens of the most powerful kingdoms in Earthbread: the legendary heroes, the other wielders of the Soul Jam. Ever since she had met them all, (C/F) Cookie had been invited to all sorts of things with them, from extravagant parties to simple tea breaks.

"I'm so honored you would all invite me." (C/F) Cookie smiles, holding her tea cup carefully in her hands.

"Of course we invite you." King Pure Vanilla Cookie smiles. "It is always a joy to have you join us."

"Here here!" Queen Hollyberry Cookie raises her own cup—which is full of juice, not tea.

"Yes. It is always nice when White Lily Cookie brings you for a visit." Queen Golden Cheese Cookie grins.

King Dark Cacao Cookie nods his agreement.

White Lily Cookie smiles faintly as well.

"Say, (C/F) Cookie," King Pure Vanilla Cookie glances around at the other heroes, "there are many books in the library I am certain you will find interesting if you would like to go have a look."

"Can I?" She eagerly stands from her place at the table, her eyes shining brightly.

"Certainly!" King Pure Vanilla Cookie chuckles.

"Please do not wander off." White Lily Cookie watches them hurry out with a worried frown.

After (C/F) Cookie's footsteps fade away down the hall, the five heroes' expressions harden.

(C/F) Cookie was a strange case for all of them. As much as they all loved Cookiekind, she held a special place in their hearts. Originally they had agreed to simply pass her amongst themselves at her–unknowing–leisure (after all, she is not a prisoner, but a dear friend). but when she started to become more anxious to see the world outside the kingdoms, White Lily Cookie had stepped in to care for her, and teach her as they traveled together. With their affinity for her continuing to grow, they all kept in close correspondence about her activities, which is part of the reason why White Lily Cookie had suggested they meet together in the Vanilla Kingdom that day.

"Has she been leaving your side more frequently?" Dark Cacao Cookie asks White Lily Cookie.

White Lily Cookie nods, worry clouding her eyes, "She leaves without saying anything sometimes."

"So that is why you wrote us all such a hasty summons." Golden Cheese Cookie frowns. She glances out the door (C/F) Cookie had just gone, "What sorts of places has she run off to?"

"Nothing too dangerous..." White Lily Cookie sighs, "I am more concerned because she has recently become determined to see the Night of the Witches."

"Oh dear..." Pure Vanilla Cookie frowns, a grave expression crossing his face. "We cannot allow that to happen."

"That much goes without needing to be said." Hollyberry Cookie nods solemnly, "We cannot allow someone with such precious, fragile dough to travel into such danger."
