Jun Pov:

"Babe, could you help me for a second?" Aera asked while fiddling with her left mechanical arm.

"Sure. What's up?"

"Something's wrong with this. Ugh. I'll have to call Jaemin to fix it." She groaned after I removed the prosthetic piece.

When it was finished Aera instinctively covered the stump of what was left of her arm with her right hand causing me to frown.

"Aera. . . you don't have to be ashamed of it. You're beautiful as you are." I comforted , noting my wife's discomfort.

"It's not the fact that my arm's gone that worries me. I'm just concerned that Hyunjin will find out about. . . you know the other members and the atrocities they committed."

"She won't. I'll make sure of it. I mean we did tell her that you lost your limbs in an accident and she seems satisfied by that." I reassured.

Aera nodded.

"Yeah. I just texted Jaemin. He said I can bring over the arm for a check up tomorrow."

I smiled.

"That's good news. Anyway-"

Aera and I both paused as the door suddenly opened and Hyunjin entered a small scowl embedded across her face.

"Hello sweetheart!" I called out.

"Hey Dad. Hey Mom." my daughter muttered.

"How was school?" Aera asked.

"Urgh. It was going fine till that asshole dragged me outside for a talk!"

"Asshole? You mean Choi Yeonjun?" Aera replied with a confused tone.

"Yeah that's him!" Hyunjin fumed.

"Oh sweetie, he's a nice kid. Let's not trash talk him okay?" Aera chided gently.

"Isn't he like the school playboy?" I cut in.

Hyunjin nodded vigorously.

"Exactly! See Dad gets it!"

Aera frowned.

"That's not what I heard. . ." She muttered.

"Oh really? What did you hear then?" Hyunjin spat.

"Hyunjin. Tone." I warned.

"Sorry."

"It's okay dear. Apology accepted. I heard that Yeonjun was an ace student who was also a great dancer like you. In fact I thought I saw him at the competition yesterday." Aera mused.

"Yeah. The fucker filmed me too." Hyunjin muttered.

"He what?" I questioned, alarmed.

"He shared it on social media trying to show everybody how good my dancing skills were." My daughter replied dryly.

"Well did it go well?" Aera asked.

"Yeah. 5 million views or something like that."

"Oh Hyunjin that's great news!" Aera exclaimed.

"It is?" I winced, not pleased by the fact that my child had been filmed without consent.

"Of course! It means she'll be getting recognition!" My wife continued.

Hyunjin snorted.

"Geez mom, when were you so into young delinquent playboys.?"

"Well you see, dear, before your mother was with me she dated this playboy guy named Mingyu-"

I froze as the male's name fell out of my lips. Glancing at Aera I noticed that she seemed to be in a state of shock as well. Fuck. When we married we had promised not to bring up the Seventeen members ever again. Especially not in front of Hyunjin.

"Yeah yeah typical teenage girl cliche stuff. I get it." Hyunjin answered while staring at her phone.

I breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed like we were fine.

"I'll be heading to my room now." She announced suddenly.

Aera and I nodded and waved goodbye as Hyunjin left the kitchen. When she was gone my wife wasted no time in wacking my face with the kitchen towel.

"What the hell were you thinking Moon Junhui?" Aera yelled.

I flinched and ducked another swipe from the towel.

"I'm sorry!" I yelped.

Aera sighed.

"Well at least it seemed she didn't hear it and Seventeen isn't going back any time soon so everything's alright."

I gulped.

"Um, love?"

"Yes?"

"I have some bad news for you. The members are back on Earth."

There was a loud noise as the plate that Aera had been holding crashed onto the ground.

"What?" Aera whispered.

"I-"

"HOW? WHY?" My wife shrieked.

"Shh sweetheart. Deep breaths. Deep breaths. It's going to be okay." I soothed hugging the quivering woman.

"What are they doing here?"

"They apparently set up a music label." I replied slowly.

"They did what? How did they get past the Entity?"

"I'm not sure. I had no idea they were back until today when the studio sent me to an entertainment company named Pledis saying that the people needed a dance instructor for their trainees." I answered.

"You didn't accept the job did you?" Aera asked fearfully.

"Hell no. I saw someone pass in the hallway and when I realized it was Jeonghan I just turned on my heel and left the building. I sent an email to my boss, so he'll understand."

"Good. Should we move or something?" Aera murmured.

"I think we'll be fine for now. They don't seem to be doing anything dangerous. . . yet."

Aera nodded.

"If you say that's for the best, I trust you."

I grimaced. What were those bastards doing back on Earth? Hadn't they promised to leave Aera alone? Had they been lying about moving on? Or had they simply found a new obsession?
