Hyunjin POV:

Thud. Thud. Thud. I groaned loudly as I banged my head against my bedroom wall for the hundredth time. It had only been one day but the boredom was already beginning to kill me. My father had made it very clear to me. I was to be locked away in my room the entire time, including eating meals, and when I wanted to go to the bathroom, I had to be accompanied by him or my mother. Texting and emails were also supervised by either parent peering over my shoulder. Devices were taken away leaving me stranded without any means of communication to Eunchae or fuck it Yeonjun. The door opened and I heard my father say,

"Hyunjin. No banging your head on the wall please."

Thud.

"Hyunjin."

I sighed and stopped.

"Thank you."

With that I heard the bedroom door close. I flopped onto my bed, exhausted with the quarantine. Perhaps some shut eye would do me good. I was awoken by a loud commotion down the hall. I gently tried the door knob and found that it was not locked much to my luck. Tiptoeing down stairs I saw my father in a heated debate with Minghao.

"Why would you sign her off to Pledis, Minghao? You know the members are traumatic to Aera! Did you really think that them being around Hyunjin would make her feel any better?" Jun hissed.

"It's not about Aera. It's about Hyunjin's future." Minghao retorted.

"And you had to choose Pledis of all places?"

"They've changed, Jun."

"No you've changed."

"I assure you Jun. I'm not the one who's changed."

With that Minghao cracked an icy smirk.

"Whatever. I don't want to fight with you Minghao. What are you here for anyway?"

Minghao then revealed a padded envelope.

"What's that?" Jun asked, confused.

"Missing assignments."

My father frowned.

"What? Hyunjin should have gotten everything digitally though."

"Well guess that's not the case anymore. Hyunjin dear, come on down and get your assignment please." Minghao called me.

I froze as Jun's eyes landed on my seated form on the stairs.

"What are you doing out of your room-"

"Sorry! Thanks Minghao! Bye!" I rushed past the males, grabbing the package before sprinting upstairs to my bedroom.

When I regained my composure I opened the envelope. Inside was a bracelet with a silver moon pendant and a folded note. I unraveled the paper and read the words.

Dear Hyunjin,

I've been feeling these feelings for a while now and I think it's time I got them out to you. To be honest,

There's a horn rising out of my head

But I love it

This fluttering sensation

My heart is mayhem

But I love it

We are finally perfect

The two of us, us, us

But I like am so nervous so please,

Tell me yes, "no" is no
