-3rd Person POV-
(Y/n) then adjusted herself again as Shinobu asked a somewhat different question. *Main question, why do you care so much in such a short time. You haven’t even known him that long.*

*I have known him for over six or seven weeks actually…* (Y/n) responded as she bit her lip a little. Shinobu then leaned forward as she smiled wide. °So you love him.° She teased, as she leaned back again before looking at a sleeping Shinazugawa.

(Y/n) didn’t even look towards Shinobu or Shinazugawa as she embarrassingly signed, *YES! NO! I DONNO!* She signed fast, as Shinobu got her answer since (Y/n) stood up from the stool knocking it over as (Y/n) covered her face with her hands.

-Sanemi’s POV-
I woke up to the sound of ringing, but I didn’t open my eyes as I heard people shifting around, but I just laid there as my side would probably hurt if I moved.

“So you love him.” A person said, as they sounded like Shinobu. ‘Who would like me?’ I thought to myself as I mentally was dying with butterflies in my stomach. I opened my left eye slightly to see Shinobu staring at me for a split second, and I opened my right eye to see (Y/n).

‘Oh, it is just (Y/n)... WAIT (Y/N)!?!’ I thought before opening my eyes to see her awkward response to Shinobu’s question. I blushed as I saw her response. I then “started” to wake up so Shinobu wouldn’t tattle on me, and so I could ask how long I had to be here.

I locked eyes with (Y/n) as she stared back as she was on the verge of tears. A few tears shedded as (Y/n) then hit me straight in the center of my chest.

“Argh!” I groaned as I leaned forward causing my side to stretch a little causing some uncomfortable pain. °Why did you do that!?!° I asked as I looked over to Shinobu. “Guess she actually hit you.” She chuckled a little before getting up and heading for the door.

Before leaving she said this, “Don’t lead her on, but I don’t think you will as you have been gawking at her since we met her. Do you need anything before I leave?” Shinobu asked, turning around for the last question.

°Can I get some fucking pain killers?° I asked angrily, embarrassed. Bug eyes chuckled as she left the room. Now I was just waiting with (Y/n) for Shinobu to come back. *Does your side hurt?* (Y/n) asked worryingly as she fidgeted with her hands. I then noticed a bandage on her left hand, but I didn’t ask about it. I might ask her about it later.

*Yeah my side hurts like a mother fucker, but I have been through worse…* I sign to her, technically not wrong since my face and torso scars hurt worse. ‘Speaking of scars…This side cut is probably gonna leave one.’ I thought as I put my hand on my side.

I looked at her and she seemed to be really stressed. I then blurted some signs out without thinking. *Will you eat food with me after this?* I then crossed my legs noticing that I wasn’t in my slayer uniform, but in the normal butterfly mansion outfit.

(Y/n) looked completely shocked, but before she could respond, I decided that I wanted to tease her just as bug face did. *Unless I am just too hot for ya?* I smirk, but then she snaps out of her thoughts before signing something in return.

*Aww, you aren’t suggesting that I’m too cold for you, are you pumpkin?* She smirked in return as my face flushed a deep red as I responded by pushing her off the stool. She then back handsprings back into a standing position.

‘That was hot.’ I thought about looking away before I could think too much about it, but then Shinobu then slid the door open to the room. “Here take this. If you are able to stretch forward and touch your toes without any pain from your side after the painkillers kick in then I will let you go home, but you have to check in every other day just to make sure it doesn’t get infected.”

I nod understanding her terms and signaled her to just toss it to me. I took it without a drink like I normally do, but Shinobu handed me a cup of water anyway. ‘I am dehydrated.’

°Have fun on y’all’s little date~° Shinobu signed / said out loud making (Y/n) explode into red. I was just smirking at her reaction as I had a tint of red on my face.

~One Hour Later~

Shinobu then came back into the room to see me and (Y/n) having a stretch contest, going easy of course since I didn’t want to rip a stitch. “Ara ara~ I didn’t expect to walk into this?” She chuckled as she threw me a wrap of bandages. °You're free to go.° She signed looking towards (Y/n) as she signed a simple, *See you later.*

(Y/n) then gets up getting my attention. She held her hand out offering to help me up which I took. *When are we heading out?* She signed with a smile.

*How about? We meet up in an hour at the sakura tree bench by the pond so we can get ready?* I signed as we left the room, and towards the door of the mansion. I looked at her face to see she was kinda confused, so I gave more directions. *It’s by the Ubuyashiki estate, but I can send my crow with you so he could lead the way if you like?*

She smiled and clapped excitedly, slightly jumping a little. *That would be helpful, if he doesn’t mind of course.* She giggled a little as my crow landed on her shoulder. I waved her off as we split ways to our estates to get ready for dinner.
