A New Flame (Sanemi x Deaf Reader)

(This happens after the battle with Muzan Kibutsuji and after the recovery of both (Y/n) and Sanemi.)

-Sanemi's POV-
I have been in and out of multiple comas and been getting updates of the others, as well as getting updates on (Y/n). I was told that her arms got burns further up her arms during the final battle, but other than that she is in the same position as me waiting to be released.

Before finishing my thoughts the butterfly girl with a little attitude told me that I was ready to be released if I was able to do all of the rehabilitation training. She told me simple directions before leaving me alone in the room.

-After making it to the training room-

I walked into the room to see the musketeers and they 'used to be' demon girl, but most of all I saw (Y/n) stretching forward as they changed the rehabilitation since we don't have to kill demons anymore. Part of me really wishes we could still do that, but this is better in the end.

No more worry and hopefully people can have some normal lives.

"Shinazugawa?" Aoi asked as she lightly hit me in the head. "Huh?" I responded before looking towards her. "You're daydreaming about her again, but I asked if you were ready to start the training?"

I look away from her embarrassed before turning back to her. "Yeah, lets get this done..."  She tapped her pen against the clipboard before clipping the pen.

-After I was done with the rehabilitation-

I was headed out the door, but not before asking Aoi when (Y/n) will be able to get discharged. As soon as I finished talking to Aoi, I saw (Y/n) heading out of the estate with her katana which kinda surprised me.

I jogged over to her as I was still recovering the wound along my torso. *Hey! Where are you heading too?* I signed nervously as I haven't seen her in a couple of weeks. She turned toward me and smiled, before grabbing something out of her pocket.

*Shinobu seemed to be working on this along with some of the people in the swordsmithing village so I could be able to hear... But to be honest I am kinda scared.*

I look at the tiny thing fully interested and impressed that they were able to make something like this.

I look her in the eyes before signing, *I think it will be just fine. The world ain't that bad.* I chuckle a little as I see her smile at my comment. We started walking down the dirt path as she answered my question. *I'm heading to the shops to give the Hashira gifts to the afterlife... For their hard work, and I'm going as a friend.*

I nodded understanding before pointing toward her katana. *Oh, I wanted to keep it for decoration and sentimental purposes.* I nod, as we entered the shops fairly quickly, grabbing things that resembled our friends.

Sakura Mochi for Mitsuri, a snake pottery sculpture of Obanai, a cloud pillow for Muichiro, some prayer beads for Gyomei, a butterfly hairpin for Shinobu, and (Y/n) got her brother a sweet potato bento.

I told (Y/n) that I would be back as I told her that I was going to head back to the Butterfly mansion to get my nichirin blade and Genya's gun for his gift, and she waved me off.

I was about to leave the shopping district but a simple ring shop caught my eye. I headed over there before thinking if this was right, but then I decided to buy a rose gold ring with sky blue sapphire embedded into it.

-After getting Genya's and I's weapon-

I met (Y/n) outside of the gate of the cemetery as I also saw Tomioka talking with (Y/n). (Y/n) told me once that she sees Tomioka as a brother more than a friend, so I didn't have to worry about anything... I hope...
