-3rd Person POV-
“Hurry! We gotta get these two to the butterfly mansion as soon as possible. They are in critical condition and this standing around doing nothing is not helping them.” One of the many kakushi said. “Right!” The other said as they set out two stretchers for the boar masked demon slayer and the flame pillar.

They set the two on the stretchers as they had two people carry them to the mansion. They then ran to the butterfly mansion as it was important for them to not lose another slayer. It was a little before sunrise yet the kakushi were still on guard just in case a demon wanted to test their luck before daybreak.

As they ran through the forest the sun started to rise as the kakushi relaxed a little as they don’t have to worry about getting attacked by demons on the way back. The similar smell of wisteria was in the air as they got closer to the mansion. “Have any of you sent any warning that we were coming here?”

“I have sir!” Another yelled, as they were leading one of the two stretchers to the mansion. “ I have not yet got an answer back, sir.” They finished as crunching of rocks could be heard under their feet. They entered the courtyard as they saw Aoi and Shinobu pacing back and forth with things in hand such as stitching materials, and towels to stop the bleeding, if there was any.

-Kocho’s POV-
“CAW! CAW! RENGOKU AND INOSUKE HAVE BEEN SEVERELY INJURED AND BATTLE AND ARE ON THERE WAY HERE!! CAW!” A crow stated as it hovered over me and Kanao’s heads. ‘Rengoku? Oh (Y/n).. Alright.’ I looked over to Kanao as she was staring off into space. “What about the others that went on that mission?” I asked the crow as it landed on my arm.

“Caw! The others are stable as for now, and they will arrive later today! As it was a far run! Caw!” The crow responded before it started to fly off around me. “How are the injuries?” I asked a little concerned as it was (Y/n), a pillar who got hurt. “Caw! Inosuke got stabbed through the chest and Ms. Rengoku has multiple wounds! It is too hard to tell you all of them.”

“Is there any bleeding on (Y/n)-san?” I asked, worried about the situation of Inosuke. ‘Stabbed through the chest?! How is he still alive?! I’m glad he ain’t dead, but that will be hard to treat. I might have to treat him first unless (Y/n)’s wounds are worse.’ I thought before getting a reply from the crow.

“Caw! Ms. Rengoku has a head wound and a stomach wound by the hip as it was cut on the left side.” I looked over to Kanao and panicked. “Ara~ alright. Kanao, tell Aoi to meet me at the main gate in five with anything to stop bleeding wounds, and prepare for stitches. I want you and the girls to prepare two rooms as well!” I yelled loud enough for her to hear me. Her face turned serious as she then ran into the estate without a second thought.

As I ran through the house I could see Kanao, Naho, Kiyo, and Sumi split into two teams preparing two rooms as fast as possible. “Aoi is outside Lady Shinobu-san.” Naho said, as she carried enough towels to smother her. “Thank you.” I said, as I continued through the house.

I got outside and explained the situation to Aoi as this will be one of her first times treating a chest wound of this size. “Once they get here Aoi, I want you to take Inosuke and start checking for other wounds before deciding to unwrap the bandage. Once you unwrap the bandage, be ready to press hard to try stopping the bleeding. Then turn him over to start stitching him up. If there is too much blood, have one of the girls help you wipe it away so you can see what you are doing. Do the same for the front. Do you have any questions?” I asked sternly as I looked at her determined face.

“Just one. Do you want me to treat the other wounds as normal. And do I treat the other wounds, if there are any,  after the chest wound.” Aoi asked me. ‘Those are some great questions.’ I smiled as I answered her questions before the kakushi entered the quartyard.

I looked at (Y/n) and I could immediately tell that there was something wrong with her breathing and there was a large amount of bandages on her left side, yet there was barely anything covering the wound on her head. “Okay, bring them inside. Aoi, you take room 4. I’ll take room 3. Good luck.” I said as we split ways as we entered our own rooms.

I had the kakushis leave the room as I yelled for Kanao to come help me. We got the top part of her kimono off as half of it was shredded around the hip. ‘Most of it was because of the attack.’ I thought as we removed the rest of the kimono. “Kanao, treat the other wounds and write them down.”

She nodded as she wiped down and wrapped the slightly deep cuts on her calves. I then stood on the left side of (Y/n) grabbing towels as I started working on unwrapping the over used bandage on her head. As I did that, I could see where the wound was and wiped the dried blood with a wet rag before starting to stitch up the wound.

“I’m done.” Was all Kanao said before walking up beside me, just watching. “Alright. Can you go change the water again for me and get new towels?” I asked with a surprisingly calm voice compared to my thoughts. “Alright.” Kanao said, taking the wooden bucket of water out of sight. ‘Alright… I’m done with the head wound… Time for the elephant in the room.’ I thought, looking at her side. ‘How big is it?’ I thought to myself as I cut the bandages, towels at the ready.

The blood wasn’t pouring, but it wasn’t dry. It was kind of sliding down her side as if she has already bled out, yet she is still alive. I wiped the blood as Kanao came in just in time. “Kanao, I need your help. I’m going to have you wipe the blood as I stitch the wound together.”

She stayed silent yet she nodded as she wetted the towel down before she started wiping the blood for me. I then got around her to grab the needle and thread before coming back around the bed making a giant circle. “This is going to take awhile.” I said to Kanao as I noticed the wound wrap around her side to her back.

Thank you all so much for reading this story, I will be able to update more often as I will have more time to do so during school as we are almost at the end of the school year.

So most of my hours in the school day I can spend writing, and after school can be used for softball and practice and such. I find that a good deal. 😁🙃

I hope you have a good day or night. Toodals!
