A New Flame (Sanemi x Deaf Reader)

Chapter 71

-Kokushibo's POV-
"Either way, it's not so good that a human should be able to do.. I have never seen it before… Interesting.." I said, still able to keep up a good fight, yet being more sloppy than I want to be. "How long has it been since I've experienced this feeling of slight drunkenness? It's pleasant.. You two.. It's marechi after all.."

-Kokushibo’s POV-
I said aloud, catching his attention. I saw him strike his sword towards me and asked me a question. "What do you mean you two?" I look at him confused wondering what he meant before stepping on his sword, pushing it to the ground.

"So you're telling me you didn't know? What a shame.. The female also has marechi blood.. Anyways goodbye." I said calmly before seeing the flame pillar strike her sword towards me. The wind pillar also seemed to point this gun at me shooting me. The flame pillar's attack ended up turning into a tiger as she made multiple attacks towards me.

I blocked all the bullets with my katana as I barely had time to block the female pillar's attack. 'She had managed to cut a piece of my kimono… She is stronger than I thought..' I thought looking down at the sliced cloth beside me.

-Sanemi's POV-
'Argh! I didn't even get a scratch on him! But (Y/n) managed to actually slice a piece of his kimono off the shoulder. Truly amazing.' I stared in disbelief at the pillar in front of me before noticing some more crescent moon coming after us.

'Not to mention the fact that I didn't even know that (Y/n) also had marechi blood.. To be honest I don't even think she knew….' I thought before pushing us out of the way of the attack. I landed on top of her noticing that her neck was still bleeding.

I heard Gyomei enter the room as he blocked the attack for us. This gave me enough time to tell (Y/n) to get the neck wound fixed before she ignored me about to get up. "Demon slayer corps will never disappear… until we eradicate all the demons from this world…"

'Well said..' I thought I said I was trying to grab (Y/n). "Shinazugawa. Ms.Rengoku. set up your wounds right now. I will take him on while you do that." He said with the great presence as I quickly signed to (Y/n) telling her to sit back down real quick. "Sure. Sorry."

*Oi! Himejima-san said to stitch our wounds before we help him.* I signed to the hot headed (Y/n). 'It's truly amazing that she's able to fight with us as she just got out of battle with upper moon three.' Finally she listened and sat down next to me and she pulled out her own needle and thread.

It took a minute but I already had most of my stomach stitched up, yeah I looked up slightly to see (Y/n) slightly struggling and she couldn't see where she was stitching. *Wait! I'll get it, you're going to pop a vein if you keep aimlessly poking.* I signed panically before quickly stitching at my stomach.

As I finish sending over to the female next to me grabbing the needle from her. She has already started at the bottom of the cut and has been trying to get it stitched up further. After a minute I finished stitching up the cut along her neck. She seemed amazed that she was feeling long enough to see if they stitched correctly. 'Of course I can stitch correctly. Can't you see my own stomach?'

She then took the needle and thread from my hand again before she started stitching up her left wrist as it was deeply cut. She seemed to stop the bleeding with her breathing, but it must be awfully painful to hold a sword with that. Not to mention she is dual wielding.

'Genya is going to need his katana back when he gets himself together..' I thought, staring at what she was doing before looking at my own words to see if I had any more. I didn't seem to have any more before I looked up to see that (Y/n) was already working on another stitch on her leg.

'That last attack might have fucked us both up.' I thought before standing up groaning before going to help Himejima. (Y/n) stood up as well with a little stumble before turning the opposite. *Where are you going?* I asked slightly confused. She turned her head before pointing with her sword toward the other two slayers in the room.

'Ahh, gotcha.' I nodded before turning the other way. 'Good luck..'

-(Y/n)'s POV-
I ran over to the other younger hashira as he was stuck to a pillar. 'It must be awful pain having your own sword be stuck in your shoulder. Sorry I wasn't able to help you sooner.' I thought to myself as I walked up to him, carefully trying to not to startle him.

He managed to get himself unstuck from the pillar, he started to fall, I instantially ran over and caught him before lightly setting him down. He seems to be in agonizing pain as he continues to try and get the sword from the shoulder.

I put my hand on the shoulder before signing, *Do you want help?* Before making a motion toward his shoulder. He nodded before he gripped onto his sleeve with his only hand remaining. *Fast or slow.* I seriously but he gave me a slight glare thinking I was joking at a time like this.

'I was just joking..' I thought, as I grabbed the handle of his sword before looking him in the eyes as if I'm asking, 'Are you ready?' he stood up straight before nodding. I then pulled the sword out causing him to lean forward in pain. I then started to stitch his wound up as he continued to lay forward allowing me to stitch him up.

I then push them up so I can stitch the front of the wound, and when I was done he covered it with the cloth bandage that he got from the upper moon earlier. I noticed he start to get up as he grabbed his katana, about to run back into the battle.

I got up after him before noticing that Genya was talking to him. Muichiro then pointed for me to get something for him. I looked over to see a lock of the upper moon's hair. I looked over to him to see if that's what he meant, and he nodded.

I then quickly went over there and grabbed the piece before I flash stepped back. I also managed to grab the piece of cloth that I had cut off the upper moon previously in that fight, just in case.

'I'm starting to get exhausted..'

Hola again. I had managed to make seven chapters tonight. I thought that was pretty impressive yet again it was more than  yesterday's. I hope you all have a good day or night and I will talk to you all tomorrow. Toodals!!
