A New Flame (Sanemi x Deaf Reader)

-3rd Person POV-
(Y/n) wakes up in the estate next to Sanemi as it was around 5:00 am since the sun hasn't risen yet. She sits up in the bed looking to the side of her, noticing that Sanemi had the covers over his head covering his face. You could hear his lite snores as he breathed, but you didn't mind that.

(Y/n) looked out the window seeing how early it was and got up in a panic thinking that she got up late. She rushed out of the room to Matsumi's room, opening the door to see if she was awake. She was in fact awake. "I was just about to wake you. Don't worry, we are still pretty early." Matsumi said calmly as she finished putting on her white and teal flowered kimono.

"Don't you remember when Shinazugawa said that we can leave early so we can go to your family's estate to get ready? Or did you already go and forget?" Matsumi said as (Y/n) huffed before sliding the door shut again.

"I'm gonna leave without you if you keep saying stuff like that..." (Y/n) said clearly pouting, walking down the hall toward the entrance of the building.

Matsumi then jogged down the hall slipping on her shoes following her teacher out the door. They headed down the dirt path slightly jogging as (Y/n) was worried that she was going to be late. (Ya know, wedding nerves XD)

"(Y/n)-san, I told you we are extremely early, we aren't going to be late." Matsumi says sweat dropping as she noticed the face of her friend. "Are you sure? The sun is just starting to rise..." (Y/n) asked, slowing down a little into a walking pace.

(Y/n) and Matsumi arrived at the Rengoku residence during the middle of the sunrise. As they entered the estate they saw Shinjuro and Senjuro in the dining room. I was guessing that they had just woken up since Senjuro was yawning every now and then.

Senjuro then walked over to (Y/n) giving her a hug. "Are you excited? I sure am!" He said, smiling wide before letting me go. He then headed to the other room making you guess he was going to make breakfast as Matsumi asked Shinjuro where (Y/n)'s shiromuku was at.

Shinjuro then told Matsumi that (Y/n)'s shiromuku was down the hall to the left and two doors to the right. As Matsumi listened she waved me off before she followed the directions as she is quite excited about being able to help with such an important role.

-(Y/n)'s POV-
I looked toward Shinjuro with a lite smile showing I was happy, but he could tell I was a complete jigsaw puzzle underneath. "Were you able to find a picture of Kyojuro-san.. Or was that too much to ask?" I asked, showing a strong yet sympathetic smile.

There was a long silence before Shinjuro answered. "I was able to get one." He suddenly said, showing a smile as he pushed me down the hall where Moki was at. Or at least that is where I thought we were going at least.

"Get a shower, you ran here. I can tell." Before I could retaliate, Shinjuro slid the door shut leaving me alone in the bathroom. "But I didn't even run that hard...." I mumbled to myself as I turned away from the door.

"I heard that!" Shinjuro shouted down the hall, shocking me. "I didn't say anything!" "Sure you did." I could feel eye roll as if he were in here and I just laughed. After I got out of the shower I noticed that Uzui's wives were here. "Hello! How are you?"

"Good." Suma responded, grabbing my hand excitedly. "What are y'all here for exactly?" I asked not wanting to be rude as my hair slightly dripped on the floor as it was still wet. "We wanted to come, but weren't able to unless we were family, so Tengen just said that we can pose as Shinazugawa's cousin's." Hinatsuru said, smiling as Makio finished her thought.

"We are also here to help you get changed and get your freaking hair dried!" Makio panicked as Suma came running back with a towel. I laughed excited that they were coming and how much help Sanemi and I were getting. 'I'm so happy, even though I am so stressed worrying about everything going well.
