20. Beautiful: Ugly Lie ^

*Remus POV*

I always enjoyed visiting the muggle world. They definitely had different forms of entertainment. Currently, I am leading a blindfolded Adeline to one of my favorite places. She came over this morning as we had planned a date today. It took a while to get her out of my mother's clutches and being honest she did not want to leave either. But I have way too much planned for today.

"Are we almost there?" Adeline asked for the 20th time. "You know it is not the most comfortable when you are blindfolded."

"We are almost there just a few more steps." I reassured.

"That's what you have been saying for the past five minutes." She complained.

"Here we are." I said as I removed the blindfold.

"Wow...Remus look at all the creatures." She beamed. Pointing at all the sea animals in the aquarium. "Merlin look at that one it has eight arms."

"That is called an octopus. If one of its arms gets cut off it could just grow it back." I explained.

"They kind of look like Grindylow's." She laughed before focusing her attention on the shop nearby. "Remus, do you see that beautiful pearl necklace over there?"

"Which one?" I asked but she was already on her way to the shop. I entered the shop to see her placing the necklace to her in front of the mirror. "Do you want it?"

"More than anything." Adeline smiled into the mirror. "But I forgot to bring muggle currency." She replied before placing the necklace back down. "I want to go see a pufferfish. I remember Kate once told me she saw one blow up." She cheered before running off. I looked down at the necklace as well as how much money I had with me. I took the necklace to the front desk and bought it. I had just enough.

We continued enjoying our time in the museum looking at all the sea creatures and even getting to pet some of them. At times there were dark places that allowed for us to focus on the animal. As we stood before a giant tank filled with jelly fish Adeline turned to look at me. Her hand made its way to the back of my neck pulling me closer to her. Her lips were mere inches from mine as she whispered, "I love you" before connecting our lips. I like to think the aquarium date was a tremendous success.

"Where are we going now?" She asked excitedly.

"I have recently been polishing up on my ice skating talent." I replied with an insinuating smile.

"I accept the challenge."

"Then hurry up then. I know an ice skating rink and it is right around the corner." I yelled as I ran to the building. "Get ready to go down."

"It is nice to have confidence but do not be delusional. I am going to mop the floor with you Lupin." Adeline sang before gracefully sliding onto the ice.

Her turns were precise and poise. Her hair was touched by air allowing for it to flow like the most beautiful red sea. She did not skate she glided like a beautiful butterfly on a summer morning. Adeline is an alluring aura of positive energy her being is filled with warmth and comfort. I am blessed furthermore most fortunate to be able to have her by my side, to be able to call her mine. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever fathom all this coming true.

"Come on Lupin or are you already awe-struck by my talent." She hollered from the middle of the ice skating rink. I scanned the ice thoroughly before stepping onto it. It did not seem to be as hard as I expected. Slowly I began to make my way to her gaining little confidence at a time.

"I told you I was an expert." I confidently stated before falling face-front. "I take it back."

"If you wanted me to teach you how to ice skate all you had to do was ask."
