Chapter 21: Over

~ Austin POV ~
Its 5:21 and Kenzie had a nightmare about 4 hours ago. I am so tired. I have been awake for I can't sleep because I am expecting her to wake up having another nightmare. I know that sounds horrible. I meant like if she does have another nightmare, I will be here to comfort her. The nightmare she had scared me. I thought she was dying. I wonder what happened in her dream. All I know it had to deal with Robert if she screamed his name out. I am surprise no one heard her scream.

She turns around and she is facing the wall now. I am so lucky to have this opportunity to lay with her. But most luckyest is Robert for having Kenzie as his girl. I check the time and it is 5:37. Wow! Time goes by fast. I lay down next to her but not touching her. I am so tired I decided to sleep for a little bit. Night.

I wake up and it is 8:56. I get up and stretch. I head to the bathroom and wash my face and teeth. I come out and Kenzie is still sleeping. I change out of my clothes and I put on basketball shorts and a white tee. I hear her turn and I look over. She still looks like an angel.

I head downstairs and decided to make breakfast. They will wake up soon. I find the pancake mix and I started get the ingredients. I begin my making pancake for the rest of the people.

~ Kenzie POV ~
I wake up to the smell of pancakes. There is no Austin in sight so I got up and washed my face. I go downstairs thinking it will be Michele making the pancakes but no, it was Austin. "Good Morning." He said while he puts one already made pancake on an big plate with the other made pancakes. As I get closer I can see flour on the floor, flour on his checks and nose, and mix all over the counters and floor.

"Oh my, Austin what is all over the place?" I asked. "Oh, you see, people don't think I can cook and stuff so this" He said pointing at the mess. "Is my evidence that I can made food." He said with a checky smile, I giggled. "Hey thank you for calming me down last night." I said. He grins "Can I ask you what was the dream about?" He asked. "I had a dream that I lost Robert. Someone shot him when you and the crew were shooting at another gang. And in my dream there is this girl named Sarah. Do you know who Sarah is because she acted like she knew all of y'all." I asked, He nodded.

"She is Alex's ex. He loved her so much and she loved him. He just ended it because, well you see its a long story. Just, all you need to know she was Alex's ex." Austin said, I nodded. "How did Robert get shot?" Austin asked. "Okay, I will just tell you the whole dream." I said and Austin nodded. I begin telling my dream from last night.

~ Austin POV ~
"And then you woke me up. You know what happens from there on." She said finishing up her dream with tears in her eyes. I went up to her and hugged her. At that moment I realised that she really does like Robert. No Loves Robert. So I have to forget my feelings for her. All of them, forget them all. I have to get the point that she only loves Robert. Not Austin.

"I am sorry. But listen it won't come true. Robert lo-loves you." I said. It was hard to love because I wanted to say I love her and I will take care of her. She said, "Thank you Austin. You are such a good friend." Fuck! You see now, I just fucking friend zoned.

I should of talked to her first and not be mean to her and all this stuff. I should of done the unwrong. Like I shouldn't have kidnapped her. I should of just went up to her and have a nice conversation. I should of just shown her the lovable side of me day I seen her in the mall. I should of done all the right things but no, I did all the wrong things.

She let's go of me and I say, "Your welcome." She nodded. "Can I go upstairs to Robert room? I really need to talk to him." She asked me. I wanted to say no, you belong with me but I got to forget my feelings. I nodded, "I will wake up everybody and tell them that breakfast is ready. Then after breakfast we are going out to the mall or something." I said. Her face lighted up and she smiled. "Really?" She asked, I nodded. "Omg! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" She said hugging me. She said something but I couldn't hear what she said. She let's go of me and she is red on her check. "Okay, I will leave now." She said and she walked up stairs. I was left to myself to making pancakes. I want to know what she said.

~ Kenzie's POV ~
I walk up stairs after talking to Austin I can't believe I told Austin that I loved him. I don't think he heard me. I think I was just caught up in the moment.

I knock on Robert door. "What!?!" He said sounding like he is still a sleep. "Can I come in?" I asked. "Kenzie?" He sounds wide awake now. "Yeah." I responded. I hear him running to the door and opening it. "Babe." He said hugging me now. I hug him back. "I missed you." He said. I laughed and said, "I never left. I was only two rooms down." I said. "That's very long." He said. He let me go and said,"Come in." I walk in his room. I see his window that gave a good view of the pool and the backyard.

"I need to tell you something." I said getting straight to it. "Okay shoot." He said, I really wish he hadn't said shoot. "I had a nightmare last night." I said sitting on his bed now. He sat next to me. "Oh, I am sorry." He said and he hugged me and he kissed me on my forehead.

"Here let me tell you what happened in my dream." I said. I took a deep breath and started.

~Austin POV ~
I am making my last four pancakes.

"Let's go back to the day,
When I saw your face,
For the every first time."

I sang. I have been working on this song for about a week ago, and I still haven't got it all done. I been trying to find the right words to go for the rhythm. I flip over the the pancake and waiting for it to be ready on the other side.

Kenzie has already been upstairs with Robert for like 15 minutes. I would want to know Robert reaction when she tells him. I hear footsteps coming down the stairs and see my momma. "Good morning son." She said and I smiled. "Good morning momma." I said back. She looks at the mess. "What tornado hit here." She said. "Tornado Austin." I said proudly and she laughed. "Austin you better clean this up once your done." She said, I nodded. "I am going to take a shower and once I come back I want this kitchen clean." She I nodded. I poured the mix in the pan and make the last pancake.

I finish up so I cleaned up. I dont want my mom to be mad. Since i am finished like promised I will go wake up everybody and tell them breakfast is ready. I go in Zach's room and I jump on his bed,"Zach! Hurry up the police is after us! Pack up!! Now!" He shot right running around. I look back and laugh. "You son of a bitch!" He said. I still laughed and said, "Sorry, but breakfast is ready." I said he nodded and said, "I will be down there in 5. Let me take a shower." I nodded and said, "Oh, and we are going to the mall afterwards or something." I said. "With Kenzie?" He asked. I nodded, "Yep. I don't want her to be stuck in the house all the time." I said. "Plus, I can trust her." I added. He nodded and I head out.

I headed to Alex's room next. I walk in and ran into his bed. The bed shakes Alex but doesn't wake up. He really loves to sleep. He is a very heavy sleeper and so was Sarah. That's is one reason why they were so cute. "Alex! They are coming let's go!" I said shaking him violently to get him up. "What?" He said tiredly. "Never mind. I thought you were going to react like Zach but you didnt. Breakfast is ready." I said. "Okay" Is all he said. He gets up and follows me out.

He heads downstairs while I go get Kenzie and Robert. I was about to knock when I overheard them talking. "Robert its not like that. I only let Austin sleep in my bed because I was scared." She said. Great! They are fighting about me. "Why did it have to be Austin why couldn't you walk out of the room and sleep in my room with me?" Robert said. "Because I was already shouting at night he woke me up. He comfront me when I woke up." She said. "You could've of been like "hey I want to go with my boyfriend. And not you." And not sleep with him!" Robert said practically yelling at Kenzie.I think she is crying, I hear sobbing.

"Robert, I don't like Austin, I love you. Don't you get that." She said through her sobs. "No you don't. If you loved me like you say you do, you would've came to me. Not! Austin." He said. "Well I wasn't going to be rude. I am sorry babe." She said trying to apologize. "You know what don't call me babe anymore."

"Robert, what to you mean?" She crying. "We are over!" He yelled. I hear footsteps coming towards the door. I run to my room and enter. "Please don't come in here. Please don't come in here. Please don't come in here." I said repeatedly. I go jump on my bed and act normal.

I hear the door open and its Kenzie. I see her crying. I go up to her and hug her she is crying on my shoulder. "What happened?" I asked like I didn't know what happened. "He broke up with me." She said. I liked at her and hugged her harder.

The door opens again. I see one pissed face.

That face is Robert's.
