- Austin's pov -
She is here. Finally, I have Kenzie back. She is finally back under my wing. I will finally be able to hold her after what feels like years. She has now became a part of me. I don't know why I feel nervous but I'm sort of scared that she won't like me anymore or that she will be afraid of me. But little does she know, I need her in my life.
"Austin" Robert comes into my room. He has a worried look on his face.
"How is she?" I asked nervous as I run my hands together. "She doesn't believe your alive. She thinks your dead." I lose my breath. Dead? She thinks I'm dead.
"Where is she?" I asked. I needed to see her. "She is in Zach's room but Austin you need to know something." I ran out before he could say anything. I rush out the door. I need to see Kenzie. She is the only girl, the only person I need now. She needs to know I'm not dead.
I open the door and there she stands in front of Zach. Her back is towards me. From what I see, she still looks beautiful. She still the same height and still have beautiful hair.
"Kenzie?" I asked nervously. She turned her head and her eyes turn wide. She is frozen. Her eyes start to look watery and I lose my breath. She is okay. She is still beautiful.
"A- Au-Austin?" She cries. She turns her whole body and runs to me. Her belly! It's big! Is she - is she pregnant? With my kid? Her stomach touches me before she can wrap her arms around me. I stand stiff.
Kenzie is pregnant? With my kid? Or isn't someone else's? How could she be pregnant? How long is she? Did she find somebody else?
"Your- you're... pregnant?" I said in disbelief. She let's go of me and holds her belly. I want to touch it to see if it's real but I stop myself. Is she really pregnant?
"Yes Austin. It's your kid." She said smiling with tears in her eyes. "You are going to be a dad." She finished. She grabbed my hand and placed it on her belly. I feel the baby move against my hand. I look up at her and my eyes water.
Me? A dad? I would have never thought of it as a possibility. A dad? Missed out on months of Kenzie being pregnant. No one told me she was pregnant. With my kid. I am going to have a kid. I'm in great disbelief. I smile at Kenzie.
"Get your hands off of her." I turn to the door way and see Luke. He begins to stare me down, "That is my kid."
