Chapter 50: Fight

- Kenzie's Pov -

"I don't think they saw us." Luke said, everyone nodded. He doesn't know that I bumped into Alex. Calum and I decided not to tell him.

We were driving in a three lane road and I noticed that there was a black SUV that was beside us, has been there for a while. I feel like they were following us. I tried to shake it off.

"Turn the radio up." I said. Luke turned it up, Luke was driving and Sara was in the passenger seat. Calum and I were in the back.

The radio was playing a song by Twenty One Pilots, I believe. It was the song called Car Radio. It was deep and meaningful. It was interesting and I felt like I can relate to it. It's meaning was deep.

"This is my favorite band." Calum said. I looked over at him. "I love Tyler. His voice is incredible and Josh is a great drummer." Calum gleamed. He was fan-girling

"I love them too." Luke said. "They get really deep and their lyrics are relatable." Luke smiled.

I turned my head to the side and see that the black SUV isn't beside us anymore. I knew I was just overthinking things. My brain is just playing silly games.

"And now I just sit in silence." The radio screamed. He was screaming for help well, it felt like it. It wanted to cry with his yelling. This was something I needed a long time ago.

Luke was head banging to the music and Calum just worded the words that came after. Sara sat there enjoying her thoughts. I just looked out the window and started to feel sleepy. This baby tires me out.

Soon, the blue sky faded and I was off to dream.

- Sarah Pov -

They are following us. They are in the black SUV behind us. Luke explained to me why we had to leave. I just followed directions.

I left a clue. I had a moment when Zach was near I and Luke didn't pay close attention but I slipped a note with the type of car we drove in and instruct them to follow us.

So they did. I wanted to cry because I'm so close to be in Alex's arms again. I will be safe once again. I will be okay again. They will follow us to the house and take us away from there. Kenzie will be happy too. We will be free.

"Kenzie fell asleep." Calum spoke after a long ride of just the radio. Luke parked the car and turned it off. I turn back and see Kenzie sleeping. That baby is killing her energy.

"I'll wake her up." Luke said. He got out of the driver seat and wakes Kenzie up softly.

"Kenzie. Baby. Wake up." Luke said as he kisses her forehead. I get out of the car and carry the bags Kenzie had. I turn my head to look for any cars.

I spot them. They were two blocks away. I turn my back to them and give them a signal. I signal them that Kenzie and I are okay. I turn my head back to them and the window rolls down and Alex signals back.

"I am tired." Kenzie says as she gets out of the car. Her belly looked swollen as she was walking inside. Luke was beside her and I was behind them.

"Where the hell did y'all come from!?" Ashton storms into the living room. He looked a little drunk. I stood still. Kenzie was still and Luke was tense.

"Did I give any of you permission to go out?" He was beyond pissed. "Ashton please calm down." I said as I got close to him. "Shut the hell up you whore." He yelled and slapped me. I fell to the ground. I felt a sharp pain on my cheek.

"Sara!" Kenzie yelled. She walked towards me. She tried to pick me up. "Leave her the fuck alone you fat whale." Ashton screamed at Kenzie. He pushed her down and she fell.

Luke ran and tackled Ashton down. He had Ashton to pinned down to the ground and punched him in the face. "Don't you fucking touch her!" He said as he keeps beating the shit out of Ashton.

"Are you girls okay?" Calum came to us but picked up Kenzie. "Yeah." She said as she rubbed her belly. I get up and help Calum. I hear Micheal go towards Ashton and Luke.

"Get off of him! You are going to kill him mate!" Mikey said. He was trying to peel Luke off. Luke finally got off of him and Mikey pushed him aside.

Luke goes towards us and Mikey tries to help Ashton up. Ashton has blood dripping from his lip and bruises on the side of his face while Luke has minor scratches.

Luke went to Kenzie and held her. Kenzie kissed him on his lips. I kept watching Ashton.

"Your dead mate." Ashton said as he tried to come closer but Micheal stopped him. Calum held Luke's chest.

"You don't push a pregnant lady. Do you have no humanity left inside you?" Calum stated. Calum was pissed as well.

"Why don't you just go fuck your whores!" Micheal said. Calum went after Micheal and Luke followed behind him but Kenzie pulled Luke back.

"You know what." Ashton said. "You need to leave this gang." He said. I held my breathe, his words hit me.

"But nobody leaves alive." He said as he pulled something out from his pants. It was a gin.

Then everything went into chaos.

"Go!" I heard. It was Alex. The doors busted open and I seen Zach, Robert and Alex went crashing into the house. I seen Ashton go down to cover himself and Micheal was shooting back.

"Come on we need to go." Luke said. He pulled us as Calum was trying to cover us. Kenzie was shocked. She was pale. "Calum! Let's go!" Luke yelled. But Calum was standing his ground.

Kenzie and I made it outside. We hid behind the car and Luke went running inside to get Calum. As we were trying to hide someone covered our mouths. I could hear Kenzie trying to fight as her cries were muffled. I couldn't see anything  and then everything went black.
