Chapter 35: Lips

~Austin's POV~
I wake up in Alex's room and it is quiet. I think nobody is awake, only me. It is 10:37 A.M. I get up and do my morning routine. I finish brushing my teeth and headed downstairs. I try to be quiet walking down the stairs so they don't get woken up.

I decided to make breakfast. I get eggs, bacon, and the bread out. I crack the egg on the pan, put bread in the toaster, and then came back to the eggs. I like to cook my bacon last. As I cook, all I can think of is her lips on mine. It was like a dream come true. I finally kissed Kenzie's lips.

I get back to reality and flip the egg.

~Zach's POV~
I wake up to the smell of something burning. I get up and go downstairs. I see Austin daydreaming while the toast is burning. "Mahone!" I yelled. I ranned towards the toaster. "Huh?! What?!" He said snapping out of it. My back was turned to him. I turn off the toaster and I get the bread out. I toss it out the kitchen window.

"What the fuck man!" I said, a bit angry. "What the hell were you thinking about??" I asked him. The smoke of the toast is starting to fade. Austin opened one more window before turning towards me. "Nothing." He said. I knew he was lying.

"So because you were you daydreaming about 'nothing'." I said with air quotes around the word nothing. "The toast slipped your mind?" I said. He shrugged, "Yeah, pretty much." I rolled my eyes at him. "Dude just tell me." I said. He started to smile like a goof ball. His eyes were sparkling as well.

"Last night." Is all he said. I raised my right eyebrow, "Oh." He started laughing. "What happened last night?" I questioned him. "I kissed Kenzie." He said and smiled. My heart fell in my stomach. I felt sick. I wanted to cry but I had to act like I didn't care.

"That's cool." I felt my voice crack as I said that. "Yeah, I kissed her for like 20 seconds and then left her in her room." He said. I swear he is one lucky bastard. "Where did you sleep last night?" I asked. "I crashed in Alex's room." He said. I feel really broken. "So are you guys dating?" I asked him looking down. I couldn't bare to look at his eyes. "No, not yet. I am planning to for tonight." I looked up as he said that. I felt a bit happy but then I realised that she will be single for a little bit.

"I am going to take her on a date and ask her then." He said. I fake smiled for him. But he didn't see it. He was looking at the bacon he had began making. "That's cool." I said, pretending to care. "Yeah. Are you just going to stand there or help me." He said.

I forced a smiled and helped him with breakfast.

~Kenzie's POV~
I heard someone open the bedroom door but I ignored it. I was too lazy to see who it was. I was half awake and half a sleep. "Wakey wakey!" The person said right beside me. It sounded like a males voice. "Go away!" I whined. I was too lazy to figure who that voice belongs too.

"Wake up or else." He warned. I really didn't care so I ignored him. "Or else what?" I said trying to go back to sleep. "Or this." The person said. I didn't hear anything. I think he left. I was about to open my eyes to see who it was. I felt a pair of lips on mine. I kinda kissed back for a couple of seconds before I opened my eyes. I jerked back stopping the kiss. I looked and it was a bit blurry. I kinda got a look.
