Chapter 30: Mc Donalds

~Kenzie POV ~
We are leaving the beach and Austin taught me to surf. I had picked up really quick. Austin was amazed on how I got it fast.

"I am tired." I said. It was like 4, we were at the beach for a pretty long time. "Me too." Zach said. "I am hungry." Robert said. "Let's stop at Mc Donalds or something." Robert said. "I am down." Alex said. "Mc Donalds! Here we come!" Zach said. I giggled.

"I am paying!" Austin said. "Okay." Zach said. Alex turned on the radio and music was just playing. When I Was Your Man by Bruno Mars was on. I hear Austin humming the song. "Sing it." I said. He turned to me and smiled. "I will sing if, you sing it with me." He said. "No. I can't sing." I said not wanting to sing. "Come on, just sing along." He said. He started it off.

"My pride, my ego, my needs, and my selfish ways
Caused a good strong woman like you to walk out my life
Now I never, never get to clean up the mess I made, ohh...
And it haunts me every time I close my eyes."

He sang. The next part is my turn. He goes nothing.

"It all just sounds like oooooh...
Mmm, too young, too dumb to realize
That I should've bought you flowers
And held your hand
Should've gave you all my hours
When I had the chance
Take you to every party
'Cause all you wanted to do was dance"

I sang. I wanted Austin to sing the other part.

"Now my baby's dancing
But she's dancing with another man"

He stopped there and the guys were clapping at us.

"Thank you, Thank you." Austin said. "No fool, we are not clapping at you, we are clapping at Kenzie. That was awesome. I didn't know you can sing." Zach said. I felt myself blush. I look over at Austin. He was smiling at me. "Hey don't be mean to Austin. He did good." I said. "Woo Hoo, go Austin." Zach said with no expression. "Oh whatever, your just jealous." Austin said. "Haters gonna hate." He said. I was just giggling. "I think you did great." I said. He smiled at me.

"Hey guys we are here." Alex said. We were pulling up and parked. "Put your shades on." Robert said. They all put there shades on except for Zach, he only put on a hat. We all get out the car and entered the building. Alex, Robert, and Zach sat down while Austin and I went to order.

"Hello, welcome to Mc Donalds. What would you like today sir?" She said so nicely. She was a blonde chick with a nice tan, she looked around 5'1 or so. "Hello.." He said looking for her name tag. "Taylor." He said. She smiled. "We would like 2 Big Macs, One with no onions and no tamatoes and the other one with everything. I want 1 bag of large fries, a Mc Double and ..." He said looking at me. "Oh, some Mcnuggets." I said. "What? No pick something else. You can't have just that." He said. "What? I just want nuggets." I said. "Can I have nuggets and 2 double cheeseburgers. Oh, I also need 5 medium cups." He said.

"Is that it?" Taylor asked. "No, can you take off the two double-" "Yes!" Austin said interuppting me. He covered my mouth with his hand. Taylor laughed. Austin payed her and we got our cups. "At times, I can't stand you." I said to Austin. He just smiled and said,"Yeah, but you still love me." He had a checky smile.

We walk over to the other guys and handed them there cups. "We are number 74" Austin said. "My lucky number." He said. We all walked over to fill in our cups. Austin got Dr. Pepper, Alex got Mountain Dew, Robert got Pepsi, Zach got Coke, and I got sweet tea.

"74!" They yelled our number. Austin went to go grab it. I sat with the boys. "Here you go." Austin said handing our food. Austin and Zach got the Big Macs, Alex got fries, Robert got a Mc Double, and I got nuggets and cheeseburgers. We began to eat.

"So." Robert said. "Kenzie, did you have fun surfing?" He asked. I nodded, my mouth was filled with a nugget. "Yeah." I said. "Of course she did, she had fun because of Austin." Zach said. "Whatever." I said. "Zach just shut up." Alex said. "Okay, gosh." He said. "Hey guys get your stuff. We got to go." Alex said putting things in his bag. "Why?" Robert asked looking around as he was putting things in his bags.

"Dude the cops are coming." He said. We look out the window and see two cop cars pulling up. We all start to pack up. We were trying to hurry up and leave. In was getting nervous. "Hurry up." Alex said. We all started to get up and they were already ordering. We tried walking out calmly butnwe were all really tensed up. I seen them sitting down. We were half way out the door about to exit. Austin and I were in the back. I hear footsteps behind us and in tried to hurry.

"Boy." Someone said. Austin stopped. The rest was already out. I turned over and seen a cop. The police had his hand on Austin's shoulder.

Shit! They caught us.
