Chapter 49: Seen

- Kenzie's Pov -
"Come on." Sarah said to Calum. Sarah was pulling on Calum hand. Sarah wanted to go into Forever 21 but Calum wanted to go to American Eagle. Luke and I just watched them as the acted out in front of us.

"No, I don't want to. There is just girly things in there." Calum argued, Sarah pouted. Lucas let go of my hand and went over to Calum and I to Sarah.

"How about the girls go to forever 21 and us guys go to American Eagle?" Luke suggested, Sarah and I  nodded. "Don't pull any funny business either." Calum commanded. We both nodded and walked to Forever 21 as they made their way to American Eagle.

"Come on let's go." Sarah said as she held onto my hand. I love Sarah. She is like my sister I never had. She is so girly and cute.

"Hold on, my belly doesn't let me move as fast." I said and I rubbed my belly. Sarah smiled at me and we just walked over to the store. The boys were long gone. Calum and Luke are crazy together. They have a great friendship.

:: After shopping for quite sometime ::

"Aww. Look" Sarah said, we were shopping for baby clothes. She held up a tutu. It was for a girl.

"Sara, you know that I can be having a boy. Right?" I said. I can't lie and say the tutu was ugly because it was the cutest thing ever. It was pink and white. It looked so small and cute.

"I know. I know. I'm just saying." She said. She put back the tutu on the rack. Sara looked at some more things and I did too.

"Hey girls. Did you miss us?" Calum and Luke walk in. Luke comes and hugs me from behind. I turn my face and kiss his cheek.

"I missed you." He whispered in my ear. His accent sounded heavier. I loved it. When his accent is thick some days, it makes me go crazy. "I did too love." I said. Luke was such a sweet boyfriend. I love him.

"How is my baby?" Luke said as he made his way to my belly. He rubbed his hands around my stomach. I smile at his affection. Luke is so affectionate towards this baby.

He kisses my belly and I felt a kick. Luke is surprised and smiles. "Aww. Why are you guys cute?" Calum said. I just smiled at his comment. Sara and Calum make their own conversation as leaving us and Luke to our own.

"Are you done?" He asked, I nodded. "Okay well I guess we should leave." He said, I pouted. I didn't want to leave, we just got here. I haven't been to the mall in a long time.

"What? You don't want to leave?" He asked I nodded and hugged him. He wraps his arms around my waist and looks down at me. He is way much taller than me.

"Baby, we just got here." I pleaded. Luke sighed. "I have to be honest with you." He said and stared into my eyes.

"Some of your old friends are here and we need to leave before they find you." Luke said.

My old friends? Which ones? Robert? Alex? Zach? They are here in this mall? Right now? Are they okay? Are they looking for me?

Million of thoughts rush threw my brain. I can find them and say hi. I can show them my belly. They can give me closure about Austin that I desperately want. I need to find them. Or do I? I'm happy with Luke. If I return, I will be miserable being in a house where Austin isn't there. I would cry everyday and remember my moments I had with Austin in that house. I can't go back. It would just break my heart. How can I go to a house that my old memories will hurt me. I need to stay with Luke. I love him and he loves me. I have him here, physically.

"Okay, lets leave." I said. Luke looked shocked at my answer but didn't question it. He nodded and signalized Calum.

"You must go with Calum. I will go with Sara." He said. I followed as instructed. I kissed Luke and went off with Calum. "I'll see you in the car." He said. I nodded and walked with Calum.

As we were making our way to the exit, I look around and see them. There they are, Robert, Alex, and Zach. They are walking out too.

"I need for you to follow behind me." He said, "Look down so they won't see you and I will guide you." I nodded. He held my wrist and pulled me behind him. I had my hand in my belly so no one can bump into me. I pull my hoodie over my head.

I bumped my shoulder into someone. His scent smelled familiar. I sort of looked up and seen Robert. Shit! We made eye contact. He went pale, like he seen a ghost.

"Oh, I'm sorry." He apologized. I fell nervous but I nodded as I forgave him. It was Alex. I missed hearing his voice. I wanted to hug him but I couldn't. They would take me back to the house where Austin no longer lives in.

Calum took ahold of my wrist and pulled me away. We walked quite faster than before. We had to make it to the car.

"I'm sorry. I didn't think we were going to bump into them." He apologized, "It's okay. I don't want to return." I said. He nodded and we made it to the parking lot. Now we must find the car.

- Alex's Pov -

We just arrived at the mall because Zach, Rob and I needed to do shopping for some new shoes. We go into Foot Locker and a few people were in there. Not a lot. We go over to the fashion shoes and see two guys standing there looking at Adidas new shoes. They gave me a weird vibe but I tried to shake it off. As we were looking we noticed that the two guys disappeared.

"Weren't there two guys there just a second ago?" Zach asked he seemed confused. "Did you guys get that weird vibe?" Rob asked, I nodded agreeing with Robert. "The one with the blonde hair and sunglasses was talking about us, I sensed it." Robert said. "It must have been nothing, we might just be over thinking things." I tried to assure them. They nodded.

We bought what we needed and headed out. As I was heading to the exit, I bump into a pregnant lady. She had a round belly and sunglasses. She had a hoodie over her head too.

"Oh, I'm sorry." I apologized. She nodded. She seemed tensed. She was walking with a guy with dark brown hair. He was wearing a Green Day shirt, with sunglasses and a snapback. He had a lip ring too.

He pulled her away from us and walked away. He was weird.

"Alex." Robert said, pale as a ghost. "What?" I stopped. Robert was frozen. "That is the same guy from Foot Locker." He said. I was confused by where he was gong with this.

"And?" I asked. "That girl was Kenzie." He let out.

K- Kenzie?

"W-what? Are you sure?" Zach said as he stared at him with his eyes wide open. "I know that was Kenzie. I seen a glimpse of her face." Robert said.

"We have to get her and return her to Austin." He said.

Austin.

He would be happy to see Kenzie again.
