Chapter 40: One leaves, another enters

~Kenzie's POV~
We all woke up early to say our goodbye's to Michele and I am tired as fuck! We all are having breakfast early as we wait for Michele to leave.

"I am back!" Zach said as he ran to the store for some orange juice. "Your late. We all already finished our breakfast." Alex said. "I would have got here faster but there was a driver driving so slow in front of me." He said in his defense.

"Its okay son. We can still drink it." Michele said. I nodded in agreement. They all got up and poured themselves some orange juice. Austin went to grab a cup and smirked when he caught me staring at him.

"Like what you see?" He said. I couldn't help but smile. "Nope." I said playfully. "That's what you thought last night." He said seductively. I gasped and he just smirked and winked at me.

I seen them all migrate to the living room. I followed them to the living room. "What time is it?" Michele asked. "7:52" said Robert. "Shucks! Its almost time for me to leave." She said, I frowned. She finished up her orange juice and got up. She put the cup in the sink and walked back to the living room.

"Will you guys help me put the bags in the car and Austin will you come to my room? I left things in there I want you to help me with." She said, Austin nodded and went upstairs. I went and helped the other guys put the bags in Michele's car.

"Hey guys. Let me help." I said cheerfully. I grabbed a medium-size grey luggage but Alex snatches it out my hand. "That's heavy, let me take that." He said. I seen his muscles flex. But I looked away from it and looked at his face. "No, I got it." I said reaching out for it but Alex moves it away from me. "I got it Kenzie." He said and smiled. He picked it up and carried it to the car.

I followed behind and I already see the sun in the sky. This is my second time actually enjoying nature. I am bared foot and I walk over to the grass. I let my toes run freely through the grass.

"You look like Rapunzel from the movie Tangled." I look up and see Zach. I just smiled at him. "And Austin is her Flynn Rider." Robert walked up and said. I just blushed, I felt my cheeks heat up. "Oh? Is there something I don't know?" Robert said with the biggest smile.

Memories from last night just make me flutter. How he kissed me. How he touched me. How he made me feel. How he loved me.

"Kenzie!?" Robert said returning me back to reality. "What?" Blinking to reality. "What? Are you and Austin..." He said making hand gestures. I knew what he meant. I raised my eyebrow and said, "That's something to keep you wonder." And walked away. I heard them saying come back and tell me. I just walked inside.

I see Michele coming down the stairs and Austin nowhere in sight. She seen me and smiled. Her eyes said a different story than her smile. "Everything alright?" I couldn't stop from asking. She nodded, "It's all fine." I smiled at her and headed to the kitchen. I hear steps coming down the stairs but I assumed it was Austin.

I poured myself a cup of orange juice. I sense a presence in the room, I turn and seen Austin. He looked upset but still smiled. "What's wrong?" I asked. He nodded no and just stood there. "Are you sure?" I questioned. He came closer and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"I promise. You being here with me, makes me happy." He said. Something inside told me that he wasn't. "Ok." I didn't want to bother him anymore so I smiled at him. He pecked my lips. "I love you." He whispered.

My stomach did so many flips. I felt my cheeks flutter. I had butterflies in my stomach. "I love you too." I said back. He leaned in and kissed me. He pulled back and had a big smile on his face.
