It was finally here. Karl's favorite time of year. Summer!

Finally the fair is in town. The rides, all the deep-fried and sugary foods you could imagine. It was the one thing he truly looked forward too, unless it was anything planned with Nick.

And Nick had a great plan.

"Karl! Babyyyyy." Nick called from the living room downstairs, hoping he wouldn't have to remove himself from the cool area.

"Yes?" Karl called back, finishing getting dressed for the day.

His clothes if choice were a tighter fitting cropped t-shirt, it was a pale blue with white lettering that read 'little love'. Paired with high waisted black shorts that curved around Karl's ass perfectly.

"You wanna go to the fair?" Nick called.

Karl didn't respond, but all Nick could hear was thumping steps descending dow the steps. He couldn't help but let out a small giggly as his lover slide slightly across the wood flooring due to his socks.

"Yes!!!!" Karl squealed happily, bouncing on the pads of his feet excitedly.

Nick got up and scopped the brunettes into his arms, hugging close. Karl sighed happily and leaned into the tallers arms and chest.

"Then get your shoes on sweetheart, we got a long ride."

Karl sat in the passenger seat bouncing his leg and scrolling through Instagram and seeing the fair set up this year. He couldn't help be let out small squeaks of happiness as he looked. Nick had a plan for them tonight, the best idea he's probably ever had.

"You that excited huh bubbie?" Nick chuckled softly as he glanced at his boyfriend.

"Hell yes I'm excited! I haven't been to the fair in like two years!" Karl ranted on about his excitement for a few minutes more. Nick couldn't help but smile as his lover continued on.

By the time Karl had finished his rant the two had arrived at their destination. Karl squealed happily and quickly unbuckled his seatbelt, pushed the dorr open and- fell onto the gravel below them.

"Oh shit baby!" Nick said concerned, hoping out and running to the other side to help his lover up.

"You ok sugar?" Karl giggled and nodded as he dusted himself off. Nick sighed in relief and kissed the brunettes head gently, taking his hand as they began walking.

"What do you wanna do first love?" Nick asked as they paid the admission to get in, and headed for the ticket booth.

Karl couldn't contain his excitement and continued to walk ahead of Nick. Of course he didn't get far before Nick caught up and held onto his hand.

"Baby, I know you're excited but you gotta slow down." Nick chuckled and kissed Karl's cheek.

Karl giggled and squeezed Nick's hand. The two boys shared a soft kiss before continuing on. Karl purchased twenty tickets, which to his surprise was only $10. And Nick purchased an additional 10 just too be safe.

"What's first on the list, lovely?" Karl looked around taking in all the rides and the cost. He also took into account Nick's and his own social batteries as well as lines.

"I say, we hit up the popular rides now so we don't get stuck in lines, and then we can do a few of the filler rides to end the night?" Nick nodded in agreement with the plan.

The two got in the line for the Zipper. A ride Nick hated and Karl loved. The seats spun and so did the actual ride. Overall a nightmare.

But he did it for Karl.

When they finished with that, they moved to the line for one of the largest rollercoasters in the place. Karl ended up losing his sunglasses.

And they continue on and on and on. Doing some rides twice, and others more than twice. Nick adored the smile on Karl's face that never let up. He looked so sweet and cute with his rosey cheeks in the sun, his subtly tan skin, and the most adorable giggles coming from his mouth.

*About maybe two hours later bc I'm lazy rn*

They moved into the line of the last ride. Karl giggled happily, while Nick looked at it suspiciously.

He was always a fan of rides, but he wasn't a fan of the fact that the cage seats on the faris wheel also spinned. Karl smiled and patted Nick on the back.

"Second thoughts love?" Nick shook his head no and rolled his eyes.

"Very funny." Karl giggled as he gave the carny the tickets and stepped in, Nick following after.

As they settled into the seat of the cage, the carny sucred the boys in with the seatbelt before locking the gate door. As the door was locked shut, the ride moved again to get the last set of people on. Once they're cage had been locked in, the ride finally began to move. The cage spun a few times, making Karl scream with terror and excitement. Nick couldn't say the same, and he soon enough found the lock to make the cage stop spinning.

After the boys had caught their breath, Karl smiled and looked over to Nick, who was red faced and teary eyed. Karl felt bad for dragging him on here, knowing he didn't like spinning like that. And almost as if Nick could read Karl's mind, he chuckled.

"I'm fine baby. It was fun, just a lot of spinning. Don't worry." He smiled and put his arm around the other boy's shoulders.

The ride suddenly stopped with them at the top. This gave Nick and Karl an idea. And it was the cheesiest thing ever.

Nick smiled and looked into Karl's beautiful gray eyes for a moment before leaning in. Karl smiled and also leaned forward. Their lips connected in a soft, loving and passionate kiss.

"You're beautiful." Nick said softly, making Karl blush.

"I love you too." Karl giggled, connecting their lips again.

That night at home the two boys stripped out of their sweaty and dust layered clothes to get into the shower. And it wasn't a sexy and fuck filled shower. It was those nice romantic, love filled, stand together and gaze as each other while getting clean showers. After they had dried off and gotten clothed, they snuggled up on the couch.

"You know I think that was my favorite time going ever." Karl smiled and glanced up at Nick.

"You think so?" He chuckled and kissed the top of Karl's head as the other boy nodded.

"Yeah, yeah I do."

They continued to snuggle on the couch as they watched a few movies before falling asleep in each other's embrace.
